“You’re right. If he doesn’t want me for who I am then I don’t want him either. I don’t need his money, I’m here on scholarship,” Alec says, his determination returning.

“What if you aren’t put back on the team? You won’t have your scholarship,” I say worried.

Alec wraps an arm around me. “Then maybe I’ll have to look at transferring. Maybe all of us should, to ensure we make it to the NHL but even if I’m at a different school for a year, we will make it work. I’m not letting you go, baby.”

“Damn right,” JD chimes in, grinning. “Nothing is coming between us even if everyone is determined to try.”

In this moment, surrounded by the people who mean the most to me, I can’t help but feel a little more hopeful. Despite the obstacles we’re facing, I know that together, we can overcome anything.

Chapter 48

I lie in bed, staring at the ceiling, feeling a mix of disappointment and frustration. Today’s the next hockey game, and I won’t be able to play. My teammates are counting on me, but all I can do is watch from the sidelines. Emma, sensing my mood, snuggles closer to me. Her warm body pressed against mine brings some comfort, but not enough to shake off the gloom.

“Hey,” she whispers, her green eyes filled with concern. “I’m sorry about the game. I know how much it means to you.”

I force a smile, trying to shrug off the disappointment. “It’s alright. There’s nothing we can do about it now.”

Emma bites her lip, contemplating for a moment before an impish grin spreads across her face. “Well, maybe there is something I can do to take your mind off things for a little while.”

I raise an eyebrow, curious about what she has in mind. She straddles me, her wavy brown hair framing her face as she leans down to kiss me. Our lips meet, and the spark between us ignites instantly.

“Are you sure, baby? Might be hard to cheer me up right now,” I ask playfully.

“Positive,” she replies, determination shining in her eyes. “Let me help you forget, just for a little while.”

Emma kisses me and I immediately slip my tongue into her mouth to play with hers. I suck her bottom lip and thread my fingers into her hair. When she pulls back, I try to keep her there but she insists.

“Okay, Luka,” Emma giggles, her fingers teasing along my chest. “What’s something you’ve always wanted to try?”

I chuckle, considering her question. “Hmm… I’ve always wanted to play with food. And I happen to know there is a can of whipped cream downstairs.”

“Really?” she asks, laughing. “That’s so cute!”

“Hey, no judging!” I protest, but she just shakes her head and stands up.

“I’ll be right back.” Emma throws on one of my shirts.

“Don’t let one of the others steal you away when they see how sexy you are right now.”

Emma winks. “I won’t.”

Before I know it, Emma is back with a bowl of strawberries and a can of whipped cream. She sets them down and then hops right back on my lap.

I take a strawberry from the bowl and place it between her lips, watching as her eyes lock onto mine. She takes a slow, sensual bite, letting out an exaggerated moan.

“Delicious,” she purrs, making us both laugh. “Now your turn.”

She feeds me a strawberry in return, and the sweet taste mixes with the lingering sensation of her lips on mine. We continue our playful game, laughing and teasing each other until we forget the outside world.

I flip her over and spray whip cream in a line down her body. My licks and bites are slow and exaggerated as the sugar melts on my tongue.

Her sweet flavor mixes with the lingering whip cream as I lap at her pussy. I work her into a frenzy with my tongue flicking at her clit.

I spell my name over and over with my tongue and a possessive part of me relishes it. The need to fuck her in my jersey is overwhelming.

As soon as she comes screaming my name and almost suffocates me with her legs, I sit up with a dirty smirk.

“I have another fantasy.”
