Before I can process what’s happening, Luka rushes over to Emma and pulls her into a heated kiss. It’s sudden and passionate, making me catch my breath. Emma falls into him for a second before pulling back, staring at Luka and Alec uncertainly.

I look around to make sure no one is in this hall but it’s just the four of us.

“Uh, what’s happening?” she asks, a tremor in her voice.

Alec steps forward, his blue eyes serious as he looks at her. “Emma, I’ve been making a lot of bad decisions based on jealousy. I was jealous that these two were flirting with you at the bar and I acted like an ass. I should have told these two we were only fake dating when I realized they had feelings for you. I’m sorry,” he says, and I watch the color drain from her face. “But that doesn’t matter anymore.”

Luka’s smile is huge as he interjects, “You know we all like you, Emma. We worked it out and we want to date you together. If you’ll have all of us.” The words hang in the air, heavy with possibility.

Emma’s shock is palpable, but as Luka continues talking, her smile grows. Eventually, she asks, “So, you’re saying…I can be with all of you?”

I step up, trying to steady my voice. “Yes, that’s what we’re proposing.”

Her gaze turns to Alec, searching. “You too, Alec?”

He doesn’t hesitate. “I’ve liked you since the first time we met. This would mean it isn’t fake anymore. I’ll admit I’m not sure about the sharing but I’m willing to try,” Alec says.

The relief in her eyes makes my heart ache, and I can’t hold back any longer. As Emma agrees excitedly to give it a try, I move forward and capture her lips with mine. The kiss is passionate and sweet, a promise of everything that’s yet to come. Our connection deepens with each beat of my heart as I feel her soft lips pressing against mine, our breaths mingling in the space between us.

“Let’s do this,” Luka whispers when we finally pull apart, wrapping his arms around all of us. And as I look at the people who mean the most to me, I can’t help but think that maybe, just maybe, we’ve scored more than just a victory on the ice tonight.

Chapter 23

The guys take me back with them to their house to hang out as a group and I quickly escape to the bathroom for a minute to gather myself.

You’ve got this Emma.

So three amazing, attractive guys want to date you.

At. The. Same. Time.

No big deal.

I step into the living room, my heart pounding in my chest. The air is thick with tension as JD, Alec, and Luka sit around the coffee table, each of them looking equally awkward. I can’t believe I’m actually doing this, trying to date all three of them at once. It seemed like a crazy idea when we first talked about it, but here we are.

“Hey, guys,” I say, trying to sound more confident than I feel.

“Hey, Emma,” JD replies with a warm smile, always the cheerful one.

“Hi,” Alec says, his piercing blue eyes meeting mine for just a moment before he looks away, grumpy but making an effort.

“Emma,” Luka greets me in his calm, collected manner, his intense gray eyes studying me.

We sit there in silence for a few beats, none of us quite sure how to break the ice. I fidget with my fingers, unsure of what to say or do in this situation.

Luka clears his throat. “You know,” he begins, his voice steady, “we should all try to relax. This will be easier if we’re not so tense.”

Right. Easy for him to say.

He isn’t staring down three guys with three separate cocks.

I need to do some research when I get home and maybe some prep. Nothing is happening tonight, though.

I know he’s right. We need to find a way to make this work, to navigate through this uncharted territory.

Alec lets out a small huff, sounding almost annoyed, but I can tell that he’s trying to get on board with Luka’s suggestion. It’s touching to see him make an effort, even if he’s struggling.

“Okay,” I say, taking a deep breath. “Let’s try to have some fun. Any ideas?”
