I can hear Aiden, Jack, and Chase talking, so I pull myself away from the sanctuary I created and go out to see them, shutting the door behind me.

“Hi, you guys are early!” I say once I find them gathered at the front with Dax on the couch.

Jack looks down to check his phone. “Sorry if we disturbed you. We were told to be here three hours before the show.”

He looks me over, like he does every day, and then nods in satisfaction.

My eyes widen. “Wow, I completely lost track of time.”

All four of them look behind me with narrowed eyes.

“What were you doing here? Is someone with you?” Jack asks slowly.

Oh no, are they mad about the nest? Maybe Trevor didn’t check with them.

I can feel a blush forming on my cheeks. It’s moments like this that being an omega can be embarrassing.

Another is when you’re turned on, and everyone can smellyour slick.

Dax and Jack immediately stand up from the couch and push past me towards the bedroom.

I stand there staring after them with wide eyes. Chase comes to my side and, without any subtlety, sniffs me.

“I don’t smell anything,” Chase tells Aiden.

I smack Chase’s chest. “What is wrong with you? Of course, you don’t smell anything! I’m using scent blockers! I didn’t realize you would go this crazy over a nest.”

Aiden perks up and smiles. “A nest? You were here building your nest?”

“Yes, I thought Trevor checked with you all. I use the back bedroom as a nest, but if it’s going to be a problem, we can look into another tour bus-”

“No, no problem,” Aiden raises his voice to yell to Jack and Dax. “Don’t go in the back bedroom!”

Chase has a cheeky smile when Jack and Dax return to the front area.

“If there’s someone in that back bedroom, you might want to get them out of here before we kill them,” Jack says, folding his arms.

I know alphas are territorial over their space, but this seems extreme.

“It’s her nest. She was here building hernestbefore the tour,” Aiden tells them.

“Way to ruin the fun,” Chase grumbles.

The tension in the bus goes down but doesn’t disappear completely.

“I think it would be good to have a few ground rules. No one else on the bus but us five and any necessary workers,” Jack says.

I’m shocked they’re willing to give up bringing groupies back here, but I can admit what a relief it is. I don’t want strangers in my space, and I don’t want to watch them hook up.

I nod. “I don’t want anyone in my nest.”

“Uninvited,” Chase says insistently.

“What?”

“You don’t want anyone in your nestuninvited, right? That’s what we learned about omegas,” he clarifies.

“Right,” I say, but I can’t keep the suspicion out of my voice.
