DAX GREY WAS SPOTTED AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT IN TORONTO WHILE HEAT RUMORS CIRCULATE

May 25th

Awareness trickles back into me, and I can actually remember my name again. My time with Chase, Aiden, and Jack is a blur of sex and knots.

There’s still a heat simmering in my belly, and I know my mini heat isn’t completely over, but for the moment, I’m coherent.

There’s worry simmering in my stomach that I can’t quite understand.

“Oli?” Jack’s voice is distant, with a concerned tension I can almost taste.

I push myself up, resting on my elbows, my gaze cutting through the dim light of the suite.

Dax is standing in the doorway with an intensity that ripples through the air. His chest rises and falls, breathing heavily.

My breath catches. The omega in me knows her alpha is in a rut and pushes me towards him.

I stand up and take a step before my rational brain remindsme that this isn’t my alpha.

“Is he in a rut?” The words are a whisper, carried on a melody of uncertainty.

My heart tumbles in my chest, an off-beat rhythm. He never wanted this.

I bite my lip. If he wanted me, he would have been here for my heat.

Dax pushes off the wall, stalking toward me. Jack and Chase step into his path, pushing him back against the wall. He growls and shoves against them, breaking their hold.

Dax sweeps me up into his arms, pressing me against the wall. He goes for my lips, but I duck him, and he lands on my neck.

He’s kissing up and down, finding all the sensitive parts of my neck.

Chase and Jack follow after him, but as soon as they get close, Dax releases a chilling growl.

“Let’s all calm down and talk about this. Are you okay with what Dax is doing right now, Oli?” Aiden’s voice ripples through the tension.

“Yes,” I say, trying to keep my thoughts straight.

“We will get him out of here right now. Whatever you want, Oli,” Jack says.

A soft whine comes straight from my omega at the idea of pushing him away when he needs me. I’m still in heat. I need him, too.

“Or you can help him through his rut,” Chase says gently, like he can read my mind.

“But he doesn’t want me,” I say sadly.

Dax is still kissing my neck and rubbing his cock against my core. Right now, it’s hard to remember that.

“He does want you, Oli,” Aiden insists.

“Only because he’s in rut,” I whine.

Aiden steps closer, his presence a silent promise of support. “It’s not only rut, he wants you, but we’ve got you, no matter what. If you want to help him through this, we’ll make sure you’re both safe. And if not, we can take him somewhere to ride it out. Your call, sunshine.”

His words echo in the room, a reassurance against my pounding heart. I nod slowly, feeling the weight of the decision in every fiber of my being. Dax needs me.

“Are you really sure he wants this? Me?” My question hangs between us, a final plea for reassurance. The doubt gnaws at me, but I need to know.

Aiden’s nod is immediate, unwavering. “I’ve never been more sure of anything, Oli.”
