“I appreciate it,” I say, meaning it from the bottom of my heart.
Jack comes in and finds us with a concerned expression. “We need to get out there, Oli. Are you ready?”
I rise from the makeup chair, my legs surprisingly steady. “Yup!”
Grabbing Jack’s hand, I stride toward the wings of the stage. My other alphas come into view—Dax’s intense gaze, Chase’s smoldering look, and Aiden’s soft, encouraging smile.
“Ready to rock their world?” Jack quips, his arm slinging around my shoulders with easy familiarity.
“Born ready,” I shoot back, my pulse dancing to the rhythm of anticipation.
The stage lights flare, the crowd’s roar swells, and I step out into the spotlight, my alphas flanking me.

ALPHA TEA GOSSIP COLUMN
MIAMI IS READY FOR THE ALPHA AND OMEGA TOUR AS THEUS LEGCOMES TO AN END
June 18th
Backstage is buzzing like always, but I’m tuned into one thing only—Oli. She’s fidgeting with her skirt, her usual sunshine self clouded over with something like… restlessness?
“Hey, baby girl,” I call out, my voice a playful melody against the chaos of prep. She jerks her head up, bangs swishing across her forehead, and damn if her bright green eyes don’t hit me like stage lights.
“Jack,” she breathes, and a tremor in her voice cranks my curiosity to eleven. I cross the room, watching her swallow hard. Something’s up with my vibrant omega, and I need to know what.
“Everything good?” I ask, leaning on the wall beside her.
“Y-yeah, all peachy,” she stammers, but her fingers betray her, playing with her bangs.
My gaze follows the movement, and my senses sharpen. That’s when it hits me—a scent that’s pure Oli but turned up to max volume, sweet strawberries, and graham crackers wrappingaround me. It’s a siren call. My body knows it before my brain catches up.
“Are you perfuming for me, baby girl?” I tease, smirking as I catch the pink flush creeping up her neck. The realization dawns clear as a high note—she’s in preheat. It can happen up to a week before an omega’s heat.
I snatch her arm and pull her behind me. The buzz of the backstage chaos fades as I guide her through the maze of equipment and crew members.
“Where are we going?” Her voice is a mix of confusion and trust, laced with that undertone of neediness that only I seem to pick up on right now.
“Somewhere private.” I keep my touch feather-light on her, protective instincts on full alert.
We slip into an empty bathroom, and I shut the door behind us. The sudden silence feels as thick as velvet, intimate and private. The air conditioning whispers across my skin, but it’s nothing compared to the heat radiating off Oli.
“Better?” I ask, watching her closely.
“Much,” she admits, her gaze locking onto mine, a silent thank you glittering in those bright green eyes.
I lean back against the door, arms folded over my chest, letting myself take in the details – how her bangs stick to her forehead slightly, proof of her inner fire, the rise and fall of her chest a little too quick, a little too shallow.
Excitement coils tight in my stomach, anticipation buzzing through my veins. Oli’s heat is coming, and the thought has every alpha cell in my body standing at attention, ready to answer the call. I’m going to bond with her, and it’s everything I’ve ever wanted.
“Jack?” She bites her lip, uncertainty flickering across her face.
“Oli,” I say, pushing off from the door, inching closer to her. “I’m counting down the seconds until your heat. I’m so fucking lucky I get to take care of you right now.” My words are a promise wrapped in the husky tones of desire.
“Are you now?” There’s that spark of hers, teasing me with a smile that says she knows exactly the effect she has on me.
“Hell fucking yes,” I affirm, and it’s the truth.
