There was no use in trying to fight it any longer. She was in love with Viscount Snowdon, and her heart soared. She wasn’t sure how she’d speak the words to him, or when he might be ready to hear them, but she hoped that one day he just might feel the same.

He walked her back, so that she was pressed up against a tree and his kiss turned into one of need. Elias feathered kisses along her jaw, and lightly nibbled at her neck before soothing the bite with his tongue.

“I want you, Elias,” she whispered. Not exactly the same as professing the depths of her love for him, but still also a highly accurate statement.

He growled against her neck. “You are a temptress, Beautiful.”

“Please,” she said, pressing her hips tighter against him. All theneed from the day prior and how she lay in bed thinking of him and wishing that he would sneak into her room and touch her as he had before came flooding back and consumed her. She had a never-ending ache, and only he could provide the release she so desperately wanted.

Elias picked up his head and glanced around. They had been fortunate not to have anyone come across them, thanks to a thick patch of trees that had shielded them.

“Come with me,” he said, grabbing her hand and pulling her with him.

“Where are we going?” she asked, watching her steps to ensure she didn’t trip.

“We have a hunting cabin just this way.”

The place between her thighs heated, anticipating that soon she would be nothing but a moaning wanton in his arms. Or hoping, rather. Definitely hoping.

They moved through the woods for what seemed like ten minutes or so until the cabin came into view. Once they reached it, he ushered her inside.

She grabbed for him to kiss him again, but he stepped back. “Allow me to start a fire, first,” he said. “I don’t want you catching a chill.”

“A fire would be nice.” She watched him arrange logs in the fireplace. The cabin appeared to have two rooms, one that was a sleeping chamber and the rest was a large, open area.

A few minutes later, he had the flame started, and it didn’t take long before the fire roared to life and began heating the room.

Elias stepped back over to her. “I couldn’t remove your pelisse without ensuring you would be warm enough,” he said as he unbuttoned the pelisse and pushed it off her shoulders. He laid it across a nearby chair, then removed his greatcoat and placed it on top.

“That’s better,” he said, cupping her cheek and lowering his lips to hers.

She responded by clasping her hands behind his neck, holding himin place when she opened to him and met his tongue with hers. She tasted his tea from breakfast as she explored his mouth, pressing herself tighter against him.

A hard bulge between his legs pressed against her stomach. She had never seen what lay beneath a man’s breeches, aside from the statues on display at the museum. Even when she walked in on Durham, she couldn’t see him since his maid’s head blocked her view.

Lydia pushed all thoughts of the blackguard out of her mind, only caring for and desiring the man before her. She found she longed to please him. To know what he enjoyed and to be the one to satisfy all of his needs.

Continuing to kiss him, she moved one of her hands slowly down his body, continuing until she reached the bulge, cupping it in her hand and giving it a gentle squeeze.

Elias broke the kiss, panting to catch his breath. “What are you doing?”

“I want to touch you.” She rubbed, and his member felt hard as a rock beneath the fabric.

He clasped her hand. “I don’t want to take advantage of you, and we haven’t yet discussed what we are to each other.”

Lydia removed her other hand from behind his neck and shifted it between them to unfasten his falls. “You aren’t taking advantage. I want this, Elias. Please.”

He didn’t stop her and closed his eyes when she used both hands to unbutton the fabric the rest of the way until his thick shaft protruded between them. Lydia ran her fingers along the smooth skin, and he sucked in a breath of air.

“Eyes on me, Handsome,” she teased him. She wasn’t certain where her boldness came from. It could only be from how much she wanted him, and how safe and comfortable she felt in his presence. He wouldn’t do a single thing she didn’t wish to do, and that made her more daring and bold.

Elias opened his eyes and the heat that shone in them made that place between her thighs ache. She tightened her hand around his shaft and explored his length, noting his breath became more ragged when she stroked him.

“You’re going to make me spend,” he groaned breathily.

“Good,” she said, looking down at his cock, which had a bit of liquid on the tip. She brushed over it with the thumb of her other hand. Bringing it to her mouth, she sucked her thumb between her lips, catching his gaze when she did so, just as he had done to the fingers that he’d had inside of her.

The taste was just a bit salty, and she felt the most powerful she’d ever been in her life, bringing pleasure to a man. Particularly this man.
