William dropped the plates on the table and took the metal lids off.
“Chocolate,” he said with a grin, running a finger through the frosting of one of the desserts. “Try it.” He brought his finger to my mouth, and I licked it. He lifted me from my seat, and I ran a finger through the frosting too as he carried me away toward the bed. I offered my finger to him, and he took it in his mouth, his tongue brushing against it, making my body tingle all over.
“I’ve had more than a year to think about what I’m going to do to you, älskling,” he whispered in my ear as he placed me on my feet beside the bed. He ran his hands down my arms and around my back. His fingers quickly found the invisible zipper on my dress, and pulled down on the tab. “So I hope you slept on your way here because we’re going to be up for a while.”

“YOU’VE MADE MEwait longer than anyone ever has,” William said, my zipper wide open and my back bare for him. “And Ihatewaiting.” His hands wandered up and down my exposed skin. He gently pulled the straps of the dress off my shoulders and down my arms. My mouth went dry, and all I could hear was the sound of our unsteady breathing.
I closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling of his hands on me, of his breath teasing my skin. His touch was enthralling—like nothing I’ve felt before. We’d never touched each other so much and for this long. It was intoxicating.
“I’m shaking,” he muttered, placing his hand on my cheek. He dropped a kiss on my lips and tugged my dress down until it hit the floor. “It’s not like me to feel like this.”
“I’m shaking too.”
“God, you’re perfect.” William groaned a delicious sound against my neck. He then unbuttoned his shirt and said with a gruff voice, “Lie on your back for me.”
I did and watched him undress.
“I thought I was the bossy one,” I said with a low, breathy laugh as I took in the length of his perfect and beautiful body.
“Youarethe bossy one.” William placed his lips on my knee and kissed his way up. He stopped at my hip bone and met my gaze. “But not in bed.”
I didn’t have a single problem with that.
He slipped my underwear down, and I let my head drop on the pillows. His fingers found me again, making me gasp. Another not entirely soft moan escaped me, and it only encouraged William even more.
He searched for my mouth with desperation, and I met him with the same impatience as if we couldn’t be close enough. We wanted more.Iwanted more. The way the strong line of his body fitted mine was perfect. Made for me in every way.
William’s mouth moved to place a quick kiss on the tender skin of my neck, and then I heard him fighting with his nightstand. He finally pushed the drawer shut, and I saw him tearing a condom open.
“We don’t need that,” I told him as he knelt with his knees straddling my hips. He wasperfect.
William met my gaze and widened his blue eyes at me. I pulled myself slightly up with my elbows and asked him what was wrong when I realized he’d gone silent.
“I’ve never had sex without a condom,” he admitted.
“Never, never?” I mean, I wasn’t going to complain. I just couldn’t believe it.
“Never.” William held the shiny black square between his fingers as he continued to aim his gaze at me, his chest heaving.
“Another first then, huh?” I said with a smile, trying to lighten the mood again. But he frowned. “William, please. Tell me what’s wrong.”
“Nothing I—I’ve told you how careful I usually am with this sort of thing. I’m not so trusting, and it’s just something that I—”
“You can trust me.” I tried reassuring him. But he had just mentioned before how girls had to sign contracts just to date him. It was only natural for a guy like him to want to beextracareful, especially during sex. Wouldn’t want any girl claiming to be pregnant with him or something—a tabloid nightmare.
He didn’t have to say it for me to know it had something to do with that. And I hadn’t signed a damn thing, and now I was asking him not to use a condom. It was beyond his comfort zone. I had to fix this.
“But we can use one if it’ll make you feel more at ease, okay?” I didn’t mind as long as I could be his and he could be mine. But I could see him struggling with his thoughts. I read it all over his face.
I reached out and touched his lower abdomen, my eyes pleading for him to say something.
“I wouldneverdo anything to hurt you, Billy.” I called him Billy, and I don’t know why I did. It just slipped out. I never had before.
“You just called me Billy.” He laughed under his breath and dropped himself beside me, his hand wandering up my thighs again.
“I did,” I said in a breath, leaning back and savoring his teasing touch.
