“I thought you never wentfishing?”

“I’ve cleaned fish for arestaurant.”

They took the fish out back and beganto clean it.Bindi was better than he was.She looked to be amaster with a knife. They were done much faster than he’d hopedfor.Since they were here, they cleaned up and Bindi even changedher clothes. Then they met with Ariel and grabbed somelunch.

“It shouldn’t be too longbefore the fish is ready.”Ariel mentioned.“We only get a freshcatch a couple times a month and really enjoy them.”

“Someone brings you freshfish?”

“There are some activehunters, fishermen, and gatherers in the family andfriends.”

“It’s nice that theyshare.”Duroc offered.

“You’resharing.”

“Would be a waste not to.”That answered his question about why they did it.

“The fish is coming out.”Ariel said.

“I’ll get enough forus.”

He walked up to the buffet just as alady brought out a large pan of fish.Filling up the plate, he alsogot some tartar sauce then headed back to the table.

“Looks good.”Arielobserved.He held the plate out to her offering her some and shetook two small pieces and grinned at him.

Duroc got a piece, and it waswonderful.Maybe better because he and Bindi had caught them.Buteveryone else seemed to be fighting over what was left.“They areabout to put out another pan if you want more.”Arielmentioned.

“Do you?”He turned toBindi to ask.

“It’s okay.I got lots ofother food.”

“Me too.We need to gofinish our date.”

“You two have fun.”Arieldirected.

Grabbing their trays, they put them inthe bin then headed out.Helping her in his car, they then headedto his house where he quickly changed.

“Where are we going next?”Bindi asked.

“You’ll see when we getthere.”

It was time to check out Moe’s villageand he hoped they could see and do a lot before closing time.Whenthey got there, it was a surprise to see Moe.“Hey guys. Here tocheck things out?”

“This is one of theexciting places to be.It looks busy.”Duroc commented.

“Business is booming.”Moegrinned.“I finally got some help and things are going well.Whattickets are you looking for?Give me a review and I’ll give youtickets for the village. The cats tickets are theirown.”

“We don’t need freetickets, but we can give you a review anyway. We need tickets forboth.”Duroc decided. He handed over a company creditcard.

“Your dad have you checkingout possibilities?”Moe asked.

“He likes to keep up withthings. We’re getting some tourism and he’s thinking about gettinginto it.”

“Sounds good.Here’s yourtickets.Have fun.”

Duroc got the tickets and led Bindiinto the park.It was interesting and he saw that it was a mix ofold and new.The employees wore clothing from mid to late 1800’swhile tourist wore the modern clothing.Watching the blacksmith wasfun and his skill was easily seen. The glassblowers were alsointeresting to watch and even let a few in the crowd try to do itthemselves. Most didn’t do well.
