“I’ll help.”
They both began to clear the table thenBindi rinsed the plates and loaded the dishwasher.It had not beenempty to begin with and now it was full so she added a pod thenturned it on.Duroc had wiped off the table and now sat theirlooking at her.
“What do you want fromme?”
“I just love to watch you.”Duroc admitted.
“There are lots of otherthings you could be doing.”
“But none that give me asmuch pleasure.”
“Tomorrow, we go back towork?”Bindi asked.
“If you want to.Butremember the trip to my dad’s.It will take a week.”
“Are you wanting to do thatnow?”
“If you are willing to doso.”Duroc admitted.
“You want to leave in themorning?”
“That would begood.”
“It’s not quite noon.Ineed to go see Ariel to get ready if you’re sure?”Bindiinformed.
“Okay.You want me to takeyou?”
“It’s not far, I’ll befine.”
She went out to his truck and took itto Ariel’s.She was greeted at the door.“I was expecting yousooner.We need to go now.Follow me.”
Bindi did as she was told and got intoAriel’s SUV in the back seat.A driver and a bodyguard sat upfront.“Where are we going?’
“We’ll get your hair donefirst.Tina usually does that.”
“How far is the salon?”Bindi asked.
“We’re here.”
They got out and went in the salon.“So, who is this, Ariel?”
“This is Bindi.”
“Come sit in the chair,Bindi.Do you want me to figure out what’s best?”Tinaasked.
“She’s good at it.”Arielobserved.
“Okay.”
Tina looked excited.“What is theoccasion?”
“She’s meeting her new inlaws.”
“That’s important.We’llwash it first then get on the cut.”
It didn’t take long, and Tina wasleading her back out front.
Tina was cutting and although there wasa lot of hair on the floor, when she looked her length wasn’t muchshorter.When the cutting was done, she began drying and styling.“It won’t look bad if you don’t style it, justdifferent.”
