Damon quickly made the call.And hecould hear some of it.Alpha Al was pissed, and his voice rose.“Idon’t even know this woman you speak of.”
“You’ll know her soon.Be prepared forthe challenge, it’s been made.”Damon insisted.
The ball was rolling and Duroc hopedit would land in a place that would be good for all concernedexcept Al.Bindi sent him a concerned look and that was what shewould have to deal with until he won this challenge.They neededtime alone so he could assure and comfort his mate.She’d beenthrough so much and now there would be more.
Damon said, “It’s on and he’s beeninformed.Tomorrow we’ll go a bit early to check thingsout.”
“My mate and I wish to go as well.”His dad mentioned.
“You are welcome to come along.”Damonoffered.“For now, everyone get some rest and do whatever you needto get in the right frame of mind.”
He took his mate back to their room.It was early, but she’d been through an emotional mess, and sheneeded him to calm her.That’s what mates were for.As soon as thedoor was shut, Bindi was stripping out of her clothes.Duroc beganto do the same.His mate wouldn’t have to wait for him.Everythingwas ready and he pulled her into his arms to kiss her.This was asweet and loving kiss.It told her he supported her and would doanything for her.
Having reassured her, his wolf rosewanting to bring passion out.His eyes glowed gold and hers did tooin response.What happened now would be full of animalisticpassion.She was wolf too and there was no need to take it easy.Their bed was close, and he backed her up until it was right behindher.He pressed her until she fell then he kissed her with all hispassion.
Duroc spread her thighs and sunkhimself deep inside her.He moaned at the wonderful way it felt tojoin his mate.She rose to meet him as he sank into her.Hermuscles squeezed his shaft making him feel amazing.Faster andharder he slammed into her.No tenderness in this joining, thatwould come later.This was hard and fast and completely physical.They were wild with their wolves running the show.

He didn’t think he had any more energyto throw into his body, but he found some going even deeper.That’swhen his mate went crazy biting him as she climaxed.Duroc followedand neither of them had an ounce of energy left.Kissing his mate,he moved off her so they could position themselves properly on thebed.Duroc joined her and they snuggled up tight.
As he had expected, Bindi was deepasleep.Duroc slid away from her not wishing to wake her.Later, hewould come back and join her.His dad would be waiting forhim.
“I expected you.”His dad, AlphaCalvin, said.
“I know.”He grinned.“You want todiscuss what this might mean?”
“Of course.While I expect you to win,if you don’t, we’ll see your mate settled.She’s good at thesecurity business, right?”
“She is about the part you wanted todo.Guarding and investigating, not as much.”
“We’d give her your job.Don’t worryabout her at all.”
“Thanks Dad, but you know I’ll stillworry.”Duroc admitted.
Calvin sighed heavily.“That’s what Ithought but maybe it’ll ease those worries a bit.”
“It will.Why don’t you tell me moreabout the male I’ll be fighting.”
“I wish I could.He’s neverchallenged.His people are all scared to death of him.A good pointis I’ve never heard of him training either.The guy isn’t as bad asHemple was, but he’s on his way, Nature only gives us so much andif you let it all go to hell, eventually you’ll lose it.Unfortunately, being evil doesn’t run down your body on itsown.”
“I always heard rumors, but nothing toback them up.”
”We know now that the rumors weretrue.Taking him out will help many people.I’m proud if of you fordoing this.”
“Thanks Dad.I hope it goes the way wewant it to.”Duroc admitted.
“You’re a hell of a fighter.I can’timagine him winning.We’ll all be there to prevent any cheating.Becareful, but you’ve got this.”
He could remember when he was younghis dad encouraging him in this way.Seemed you were never too oldto appreciate your father’s advice.Provided he was a good father.It was hard to imagine a father like Bindi’s who didn’t stand upfor his children.His dad sent him to his roomroom, which hadn’thappened in years.
“Rest up and be there in case yourmate wakes.”
Duroc hurried back but Bindi wassleeping soundly.He only hoped he could manage to do the same.Curling into his mate, he did manage to sleep against all hisexpectations.In the morning, they woke together in time for a goodbreakfast.This was the day it would all go down.
“You ready?”Damon asked as he took asip of coffee.
“Ready as I’ll ever be.”
