I need a business professional that knows how to cut loose on the weekend. One that can seal a deal, kick off their shoes, and party with the best of them.

I open my contact list and scan through the names.

Barbara Benzose - too big a stick up her ass.

Fran Ziger - maybe a little too bad considering she’s about to lose her job.

Lisa Cardone - nope, uptight and nosy.

I continue scanning my contacts until I stumble upon the unlikeliest of names. The only one that has a chance of helping me pull this off.

Maxwell Stryder, CEO of a billion-dollar corporate enterprise that has dated his fair share of bad girls. I should know because I’m the one that has to organize them in his digital black book.

I suppose he could be considered bad in his own right. He doesn’t go around smoking cigarettes and riding all over the city on a motorcycle, though he does take one out occasionally. He has no tattoos, and there’s no edge to him, except when it comes to business matters. There are no torn shirts and jeans, it’s always three-piece suits for him. He’s competitive, driven, and business savvy, knowing how to close a deal not just with a pitch, but with hardball negotiation tactics that often rub people the wrong way.

And there is one trait he has that matters more than all the others—he doesn’t give a fuck. He exudes confidence and rarely takes no for an answer.

He may meet none of the outward qualities of a bad boy, but Maxwell Stryder is my best hope for infiltrating the bad girl ranks.

Now, all I need to do is convince him to take me under his wing.
