I open the pantry and pull out a bagel, pop it in the toaster, and look in Drake’s cavernous refrigerator for some cream cheese.

“Hey, ALAN,” I shout.

“Yes?”

“Do you know where Drake keeps the cream cheese in this thing? Does he even have any?”

“First, there is no need to shout, and to address your question, I don’t know, would you like me ask him?”

“No, I don’t want to call him.”

“It wouldn’t be a call, I can just ask him in his office.”

My head snaps towards the small statue. “Wait, you’re with Drake right now?”

“Yes.”

“What is he doing?”

“He’s in a meeting.”

“A meeting? With who?”

“A woman named Daphne Browne.”

“Probably some important tech stuff,” I mutter, slamming the doors to the fridge. “Looks like I’ll be having butter on my bagel.”

“Actually, Daphne is not in the tech world, she’s a model. Daphne is Caucasian, she is five-foot-three, and one-hundred-five pounds. Her waist is twenty-six inches, her bust is thirty-four inches. I estimate her bra is a double-D cup. Her hair is blonde and it falls midway down her back. Right now, she’s showing him a portfolio of her work, but with the way she’s standing, it’s obvious she’s trying to get him to look at her breasts.”

“Oh,” I say, feeling a tinge of jealousy. “She sounds pretty.”

“She is discussing how many followers she has on her social media accounts. You should look her up.”

Without a second though, I pull out my phone and look up her Instagram, seeing several pictures of her in too-small bikinis for her considerable assets.

Of course he’s entertaining models in his office. He’s a billionaire, why wouldn’t he?

“Thank you, ALAN, but I will not be requiring your assistance like that again in the future.”

“Understood, but may I make an observation?”

“What?”

“I’m still getting to know you and understand your biorhythms. Your increased heart rate coupled with how you widened your eyes could mean several things, either you are afraid or you are jealous or you are—”

“Okay, ALAN, hold up!” I snap before he goes any further. “We need to go over something right quick!”

“Yes?”

“I am not for you to analyze. You are formeto analyze. Got it?”

“You are uncomfortable with my question?”

“Uh-huh.”

“I will no longer be asking you questions as a means to gathering information.”

“Good.”
