“I didn’t use you,” I corrected. “We were at a sex club. What did you think would happen?”

She blinked her beautiful chocolate brown eyes. “You’re right. I don’t know what I was thinking.”

We were silent, both thinking. I was trying to think of how to tell her I wanted to do it again—literally.

“Can you just go? Go back to your wife.”

“Gorgeous—”

“Don’t call me that,” she groaned.

I ran my hand over my mouth and sighed. “Why are you so mad?”

I knew why she was mad. I was pissed myself. However, I wanted her to say the words. I wanted her to tell me that what we shared on Saturday was more than sex. I hated her being mad at me. Granted, she seemed to always be annoyed with me when we saw each other, but that was before I’d had my mouth on every inch of her silky body.

She stared at me, not speaking.

“Well?” I prompted.

“I didn’t know you were married,” she answered with a sigh.

I grinned and leaned forward. “So what if I am? We were at a sex club. People switch all the time.”

“It’s just not my thing. I don’t like sleeping with married men.”

“My wife doesn’t care.”

“Great. Good for her. I just felt blindsided with her showing up at the door. You could have told me—”

“When? When I had my mouth on your tits? When I was between your legs? When I was buried so far inside you that you screamed my name?”

She rolled her eyes again, and I was so close to locking her office door and bringing her across my knee.

So close.

“We just need to forget Saturday happened. You said it yourself, what goes on behind Sensation’s doors stays there.”

“No,” I clipped.

“No?”

“I’m not going to forget it, and we’regoingto do it again.”

She laughed. “No, we aren’t.”

“Don’t you fucking dare throw that ethics crap at me. I want you to come to the next party. Talk to Ava and come as her guest again. Come as my guest.”

“You’ve lost your mind.”

“Why do you say that?”

“Booker, you’re a member of a sex club. You can screw any of those women. Hell, you can bang your wife there. You don’t need to fuck me.”

“That’s where you’re wrong.”

“I’m not wrong. You see me as a challenge or some shit, and I’m not going to be used again.”

I stood and buttoned my jacket. “There are things you don’t know. Come to Sensation next month, and I’ll tell you.”
