“The basement. Not the main level.”

“California doesn’t have basements,” I stated.

“We’re talking Beverly Hills. I’m sure all the homes are custom, and Winn knew what he wanted when he built the mansion.”

“Winn is the founder?”

“And also Savior.”

“What?” I sat up to face him.

He chuckled. “You think they’d let just anyone sit on a throne with women licking their feet?”

“Well… yeah.”

“No, gorgeous. That chair is his.”

“Wow.” I slid back down. “Is that why he gives demonstrations?”

“A lot of people are into BDSM at Sensation, but yes. You have to be sapphire or higher to learn his art.”

“And emerald?”

“There’s a room on the main floor where people perform.”

“Perform?”

“Actors.”

“Why would they need actors to put on a show when the mansion is basically an interactive porno?”

“Art or some shit.” I felt Booker smile against my shoulder.

“And people pay more for that?”

“To each their own.”

“I guess.” I shrugged. “So let me get this straight. Pearl, you get entry into Sensation and can drink at the open bar as well as hook up with people in the common areas.”

“Yes.”

“Ruby, you get all that and access to the basement where you have a little more privacy, but not by much because there are multiple mattresses around the room?”

“Yes.”

“And Emerald, you get liveart?”

“Yeah.”

“Sapphire, you get private lessons from Savior?”

“Correct.”

“And then with Diamond, you get the whole shebang plus your own room, top shelf booze, and an exclusive party each month?”

“Yep.”

“Hmm.” I thought for a moment. “So yeah… I would only need Pearl because I can come to your room and I have no desire to have any of the other perks. Except maybe I’d want to check out the art to see what the fuss is all about.”

Booker smiled again against my shoulder. “We’ll get you set up after Saturday’s party.”

As we lay in bed, my head played over the fact that I was going to become a member of a sex club. I smiled as I thought about questions on applications for various things where they asked if you were members of any clubs. A sex club probably wasn’t what they were thinking about when they formed that question.
