“One night at a sex club has done the trick. I can’t wait to see what happens after next weekend.”
I grinned. “Me too, baby. Me too.”
Taking Kiera’s hand again, we continued down the sidewalk and spotted Dom and a few other firefighters in line to get in. “Lieu!” Dom shouted when he saw me.
“Hey,” I greeted, and we all gave brief man hugs with handshakes.
“Hey, Kiera,” Dom greeted her with a hug.
“It’s good to see you all again.”
We didn’t have to stand in line for long. The doors finally opened, and after they scanned our tickets, we all grabbed a drink before heading to the front row to wait for the show to start. I had to chuckle to myself because when we entered the room that had the stage, it was lit in a red glow.
“Remind you of a certain place?” I whispered into Kiera’s ear as we got closer to the front.
Sensation had red lights whereas El Rey had red walls. It was still similar. There were even crystal chandeliers on the ceiling like the mansion in Beverly Hills. It made me wonder if Vaughn had a hand in picking the venue. Maybe his bandmates were members, and Kiera and I hadn’t seen them when we were there? Maybe that was why a woman came up to whisper into his ear before he’d walked off. He was a rock star after all. There was no telling what they did on the road. Sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll, right?
Kiera smirked. “Yep.”
We found our seat in the front row. “Are you a fan?” Shelly asked Kiera. Shelly was Dom’s girlfriend and in her twenties, and maybe not the brightest out of the bunch given her question.
“Of course. I wouldn’t have wanted to come if I wasn’t,” Kiera replied. “We’re not used to being out this late.”Except at Sensation when we were out until three in the morning.
Shelly smiled. “They’re one of my favorite bands. I know all of their songs.”
“Me too,” Kiera agreed.
Tonight was going to be amazing.
I could feel it.
CHAPTER SEVEN
Kiera
The lights dimmed and screams pierced the air as we stood and cheered.
It was time.
My heart started to race at the thought that at any moment, Vaughn would walk out onto the stage in front of me. Would he see me? Would he recognize me? I started to worry he wouldn’t remember me, and the thought made me feel … sad. There was something about having your crush know that you existed. There was also something about having your husband feed the fire … his approval … his desire to make me happy. We both knew that, whatever happened, we’d go home together. If Ward had the opportunity to meet Amanda Bennett, he wouldn’t hesitate. And I wouldn’t either. We had a strong marriage, and we were working on making it stronger.
The lights went out, the entire room and stage in total darkness. The cheers continued, and then the strum of a guitar started to play, and my belly clenched. Slowly, another guitar entered the song and the drums. The lead singer began to sing the slow ballad about missing someone. The lights started to come back on, and my vision focused, seeing the four-man rock band within mere feet of me.
Ward pulled me in front of him, resting his chin on my shoulder as he sang the words. My attention focused on Vaughn as his hands slid over the cords of his guitar.
Hands I wanted to feel if they were calloused from his playing.
Hands I wanted to feel slide across my body like they were the strings he was working expertly.
Hands I wanted to stroke me, but I didn’t want to do it one on one.
I wanted Ward there too.
I wanted to see the desire in my husband’s eyes as he watched me with Vaughn.
I wanted to watch my husband stroke his cock while watching me with Vaughn.
And then, I wanted him to join in, both of the men taking me at the same time.
