"Yeah? And what are yous going to do about it? Kill me?"

"I fucking wish." I narrowed my eyes. "Last night, I watched a minor be taken into a sex room. A fucking minor!" I was pissed after watching Zell walk down the hall with Frankie. Zell was only seventeen. I wanted to barge into the room at the penthouse and throw that fucking punk Frankie off of her. Then I wanted to go on a rampage and shoot Frank and Saffron. I was so sick and tired of their shit.

Tired of not living the life I wanted.

Tired of not being with the woman I wanted to be with.

Tired of not doing the right thing out of fear I would get my mother and myself killed.

Uncle Marco's brown eyes widened in shock. "They have minors now?"

"It's Saffron's daughter."

"Oh." He snorted. "That's different."

"Is it?" I jerked his body, slamming him into the wall again.

"I lost my virginity at thirteen." He grinned.

I let go of him and ran my hands through my hair. "Not against your will in a fucking whorehouse!"

"Yous have to know by now that the Russos do whatever the fuck they want to do."

"I know that, and I'm fucking done."

"Done?" He grunted a small laugh. "Yous don't get to just walk away, Ric."

"Yeah? And how did you get out?"

Uncle Marco finished pouring his coffee. "There's only one way out."

"And what's that?" I continued to question.

"Fuggedaboutit, Ric. Yous only get out when the king is dead."

Chapter Twenty

Erin

Zell was staring at my wall in my room and not at the textbook in front of her. I snapped my fingers in front of her face. "Are you paying attention?"

She blinked and shook her head slightly. "Sorry."

"What are you daydreaming about?"

"Frankie," she admitted.

I grinned. "You have a crush on him."

Zell arched a brow. "A crush?"

"You like him."

"He was so cool."

"Zell." I blew out a breath. I still didn't know what happened in the room other than they didn't have sex. Maybe, because he was her age, they talked like friends would do, but she couldn't get attached to him. He was Frank's son, and from what I'd learned over the years, Frankie was destined to take over the Russo Empire. "I don't think it's a good idea for you to like him."

"Why?" She frowned.
