"And how do you propose we do that?" Erin asked.

Quinn and Jackie shared a look, and Frankie's mom said, "Well, we already have one plan in play."

"And what's that?" I questioned.

"I put antifreeze in his scotch."

"Did he drink it?" Clarissa asked.

The two women shrugged, and Jackie answered, "We left before he was home."

"He's at the auction, right?" Quinn asked me.

I shrugged. I didn't know when he sold the women, but if they had reason to believe there was an auction, then he was probably there. "I think so."

"It should be over soon." We all turned to see Frankie walk into the room.

"Frankie!" Zell rushed to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Easy there, princess. I was shot."

"Sorry."

She stepped back, and Frankie looked over her shoulder. His eyes became huge. "Mom? What—what are you doing here?"

"Well"—she blew out a breath—"I came back to kill your father."

Everyone stared at Quinn in disbelief. She came to kill Frank? She had already told us that they’d poisoned his scotch at home. Did they come to kill Saffron too?

"Yeah, but do you really think antifreeze is going to work?" Frankie questioned.

"It will work if he drinks it," Quinn replied. It would if enough had been put in it.

"We need to do something else." Frankie shook his head.

"And what is that?" Quinn wondered.

Frankie thought for a moment, bringing Zell against his side. Even though they had only known each other about a month, there seemed to be something deeper between them than just two teenagers having sex. None of us knew what went on behind closed doors since the cameras had been turned off, and there was no audio, but it was apparent they cared for each other.

"Well, seeing as this place is a disaster and—is she dead?" Frankie pointed at Saffron.

All eyes turned to Zell, so she could tell him about the revenge she’d gotten for him. "I shot her after she shot you."

"You did?"

She shrugged. "You did it for me."

He hugged her. "Thank you, princess. That means a lot."

"So, Frankie, what doyousuggest we do?" Jackie asked.

"Oh, right." He let go of Zell but kept her against his side. "So, seeing as this place is a disaster, why don't you"—he pointed at me—"call my father and tell him most of the truth."

"Most of the truth?" I questioned.

"That Zell and I showed up, and Saffron shot me, but it wasyouwho shot her."

"You think he'll come rushing over?" I asked.
