“Coming right up.”

Stacey and I headed to the bar, got the four drinks we needed, and then went back to the table to wait for the bride and groom to arrive.

“Stacey,” Mom spoke. “Blake says you’ve been busy with work. What is it you do again?”

I choked on my Jack and Dr. Pepper before blurting, “She’s been helping at her mom’s clothing store in San Antonio.”

Stacey nodded. “Yes. Since I don’t have classes right now, I’ve been helping out.”

“That’s sweet of you,” Mom acknowledged.

Before any more lies could be said, we were told Ronnie and his wife were pulling up. I couldn’t see the fucking door with the massive vase in front of me, but whatever.

All the usual shit happened.

Ronnie and his bride were introduced as they walked in. Then we ate dinner, toasts were given, and the dancing began. Stacey and I were cutting a rug song after song, and I was having a blast, elated that she was my date. I knew she would be the perfect person to bring. We agreed about where we stood, and there was no way I was going to bring some random chick from The Wild Pony to sit at the fucking table with my parents.

Stacey and I were having a good time, the music bumpin’, and then “Blurred Lines”by Robin Thicke featuring T.I. came on. Since I had a few drinks in me, I sang to Stacey as we danced. We laughed as I belted out the lyrics about how she wanted me, but she was a good girl. Yeah, she wasn’t a good girl per se, given she dated for money, and some people would judge her for that, but she wanted to get nasty, just like the song said.

“Yeah, you do,” I teased, and she laughed, our bodies going at it on the dance floorDirty Dancingstyle with our groins pressed together. “This is our song.”

“Aw, I like that.” She beamed.

Staceywasthe hottestbitchin the place, as Robin had sung, and Stacey’s arms wrapped around my neck as Robin sang about hugging and what rhymed with it. And we kept at it, grinding and me singing as the song played.

“You gonna smack my ass and pull my hair?” she yelled into my ear over the loud bass as I sang those lyrics.

“I will right now in the fucking bathroom,” I responded.

We stopped dancing, and I hoped we were going to fuck in the bathroom or somewhere on the massive property, but Stacey didn’t budge from her spot. I followed her gaze to see she was looking at Ronnie’s father, Ron. I had yet to see him because the attention was on Ronnie and his wife, and then Ronnie and his mother when they danced, but I knew his father was somewhere in the sea of people. There had to be at least three hundred in attendance.

“That’s Ronnie’s dad,” I said in Stacey’s ear.

She leaned in and whispered, “And a daddy of mine.”

I spottedRon before he saw me. Or maybe he had already, and I just didn’t know. What I did know was that he was married—most of my daddies were. I didn’t think he was stupid enough to draw attention to me since I was with Blake and not at the wedding to cause drama for him.

“Oh, shit,” Blake breathed.

“You can’t say anything.” I tightened my grip on his arm. I shouldn’t have told him I knew Ron, but it came out before I could stop myself.

“I won’t, but what do you want to do?”

We had been seconds away from slipping into a corner somewhere and going at it. The way he was singing to me turned me on, especially as we danced, our fronts smashing together in all the right places. Blake was nothing like my daddies. Just because they had money didn’t mean they knew how to use their penises properly.

“Can we get out of here?” I asked instead.

“Yeah.” He grabbed my hand, and we quickly went to where Blake’s parents were still at the table. “Shit. They’re talking to Ronnie’s mom.” I swallowed and steeled myself as he spoke to the others. “We’re gonna head out. Stace has stuff to do tomorrow before classes resume.” He was such a good fibber. He seemed to always have a lie at the ready.

“All right, honey.” His mom stood and opened her arms. They embraced. “We’ll see you tomorrow for dinner, and Stacey, you’re more than welcome to come too.”

I smiled tightly. “I would love to, but I really need to get ready for Monday.”
