Stacey grinned. “I’ve been thinking about this for the past hour.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
She shrugged slightly. “I was waiting until you could go again.”
I threw my head back, laughing. “Honey, I was still hard when we were cleaning up.”
“Well, then fuck me already.”
She didn’t need to tell me again.
We moved to the center of the bed, and she opened her legs. With one thrust, I was inside of her, all my teenage dreams coming true in an instant, and I didn’t stop until she came twice more, and we were well into the next day.
* * *
Once we woke,Stacey and I showered together and then ordered breakfast. I didn’t want to leave her because I didn’t know when I would see her again. She was going back to Houston, where she would audition with Maze, and if she got the position, I knew they were going on tour in only a few months. Plus, I had to deal with Brody.
I sighed after taking a sip of coffee.
“What?” Stacey asked.
I shook my head and took another deep breath. “Just thinking about tomorrow.”
“Oh, right.” She blew out her breath. “What are you going to do?”
“I don’t know yet.”
“You don’t have to do anything.”
“The hell I don’t,” I growled.
“I just mean regarding me.”
“Why do you say that?”
“I never went to the police because I didn’t want my parents or anyone else to find out I’m a sugar baby.” She looked down at her plate, playing with the scrambled eggs. “If you bring me into this, everyone will find out.”
I understood where she was coming from. Our subscribers expected discretion when using our services, which was why we allowed them to use fake names on their profiles.
There wasn’t a reason for me not to trust Stacey, but I had to have proof before I accused my best friend of the unthinkable. “I’m sure there’s a way you can stay anonymous, especially since it’s a Fortune 500 company.”
“It is?” Her eyes widened.
I nodded. “Yeah, not at the top, but we’re on the list.”
“That’s amazing.”
“We have a good business model.”
“But if it comes out that your business partner is a rapist—”
“You meanwhenit comes out,” I stated. It wasn’t a question. I didn’t think something of this magnitude would be settled quietly—unless the police weren’t involved, and Brody resigned. But could I let that happen? The women needed justice, even if they never reported it.
“Okay, whenit comes out that your business partner is a rapist, aren’t you worried it will reflect poorly on your company?”
I took another breath. “That’s exactly why I need to come up with a good plan on what to do. Make sure I have all the proof I need.”
We ate a few bites of our breakfast before Stacey said, “I think you should find out if he’s still doing it.”
