“Declan. Got a minute?”

I turned to see Sean peeking his head out the door of his office. “Sure.” Scooting my desk chair back, I headed for his office. He was still in the doorway when I walked inside and then he shut the door behind us. I lifted an eyebrow as I stood next to his desk. “Am I in trouble?”

“Big trouble.” He grinned.

“Oh, I like the sound of that.”

He strode toward me, took my face in his hands, and kissed me. “Sorry. Been wanting to do that all day.”

“I’m not complaining.”

“What are you doing tonight?” He walked over to his desk.

I leaned forward and braced my arms on one of the chairs in front of him. “No plans. Why?”

“Want to go to dinner?”

“Go out to dinner?” I asked to clarify what he meant.

“Yeah.”

“Are you asking me on a proper date?” I teased.
