“Better than you imagined?” His words were breathless—strained, but teasing.

“Better than anything,” I admitted, thrusting more frantically.

The wet slaps of our bodies filled the room, his moans rising with every stroke. While his hand moved furiously on his dick beneath him, his body clenched around me, milking me until my tempo faltered.

“I’m close,” I gasped, standing to my full height to fuck him more roughly.

“Yes,” he gasped.

I slammed into him, my hips snapping, every thrust faster as the pressure built. My breath went ragged, and my body locked up as heat raced through me. The release ripped through me in hot bursts, my muscles seizing as I came.

He groaned, his hand sped up, and his body went rigid around me as he came too, spilling over his fist.

I stayed buried deep, every pulse of my dick wringing another wave out of me.

I collapsed over his back, my breaths shaky, and my body spent. My face rested against the curve of his neck, my cock still inside him, and all I could think was that nothing in my life had ever felt this good.

“I’m starving.” Cole pushed off the bed, his hair mussed from our activities and the shower. “Let’s clean up, then I’ll find us something to eat.”

“Are we showering together again?”

He shot me a look over his shoulder, a smirk tugging at his lips. “As tempting as that sounds, I need food.”

“Fine.” I pushed off the bed. “Dinner it is.”

I headed down the hall to the guest bathroom while he went to the one attached to his room. Once I finished cleaning up, I made my way to the kitchen. Cole was standing in front of the pantry in a black long-sleeve shirt and plaid pajama bottoms, looking way too good for someone just hanging out in his home.

“I don’t have much in here. How do you feel about grilled cheese and tomato soup?” He held up a can with a red and white label.

“Classic combo.” I leaned against the counter. “I’m good with that.”

He tossed me a loaf of bread. “Can you butter a couple of slices? Knives are in that drawer.” He pointed to the one between us.

“On it.” He placed his hand on my hip as he crossed behind me, and the little thrill it gave me made me feel like I was fifteen with my first crush again.

As we worked side-by-side, I took the opportunity to bring up what happened earlier at the inn. “That was a close call with Ryan today.”

Cole chuckled, and I wasn’t sure if it was a nervous sort of laugh or because he really didn’t care. “Lucky for us, Ryan’s never been quiet a day in his life. Even when we were kids, he couldn’t sneak up on me.”

Cole’s phone buzzed and he laughed as he looked at the screen. “Speak of the devil. Ryan wants to know where I am.”

“What are you going to tell him?” I opened the fridge and grabbed the sliced cheese from a drawer.

His fingers moved over the keyboard. “The truth.”

I balked. “What?”

He gave me a playful grin. “I said I was too tired to go out. After what we just did, it’s not a lie.”

“You’re welcome.” I winked and he shook his head.

Once the food was ready, we sat at his small table, our knees bumping as we ate.

“This is actually pretty damn good,” I said around a bite.
