Another sort of alarm sounded, this one internal rather than external, and it hit me like a jolt from the heart. Because it’d come from Azazel. What is it?I asked him. What’s happened?

Camillia De la Croix has escaped,he hissed. And we have no idea how.

“What is it?” Melek murmured.

“It’s about your pet,” I growled. “Apparently, she’s escaped.”

Find her,I snapped at Azazel, not having time to discuss an errant Hell Fae Bride.Find her and bring her to me. I’ll handle her once and for all.

Because I wasn’t in the mood for silly games. If she’d found a way to escape—likely by taking advantage of whatever the fuck was going on with my source—then she deserved to be punished.

Her parents had given her soul to me. I owned her. Which meant I could either choose to keep her as a bride in the games or remove her.

“Ty,” Melek started.

“Don’t.” We didn’t have time to discuss his infatuation with his pet. We had Nightmare Fae to protect.

And a source to repair, I thought, furious at this turn of events.

Those two items took precedence over an infuriating little Hell Fae Bride.

Besides, my Commander and Warden could handle her.

Meanwhile, I’d fix this mess. Search for the culprit. Andend them.

CHAPTER1

CAMI

I’mnaked and tied to a chair.

Because Az and Ajax have lost their fucking minds.

Mere hours ago, I’d awoken from a sea of perpetual orgasmic bliss. And I’d been eager to engage in more pleasurable fun, especially when Az’s beautiful violet eyes were the first things I’d seen upon stirring.

But now? No. No, I did not want to engage in anything other than a bloodbath.

And I conveyed that by glaring at the males in question.

“You evaded my Phoenix for thirty fucking days, and you’re going to tell me how you did it. Right fucking now.”

Az’s words from sixty minutes ago fluttered around in my mind, leaving me in a befuddled state. I hadn’t been able to answer him, too confused by his accusation.

“Thirty days?” I’d repeated. “What are you talking about?”

“Don’t play with us, little rebel,” Ajax had growled. “Tell us where the fuck you’ve been.”

I’d blinked at his too-beautiful face mere inches from mine, incapable of a reply. What was I supposed to say?

The last thing I remember is you going to take a shower—which I very much wanted to join in on, but Az said you would need some space. So I started reading from my magic law book, and then I somehow ended up in my old apartment-like dorm room. Oh, and only a few hours have passed.

His expression had told me that explanation wouldn’t have been very welcome, and Az’s dangerous blade had kept me from trying.

So I’d remained silent. And their solution had been to whisk me off in a cloud of smoke and tie me to this very uncomfortable chair.

I stared up into Az’s pitch-black irises—a very different color from the violet I’d seen earlier, or whenever that had been—and swallowed.

His arousal had been fierce, but it was nothing compared to this.
