She was a fucking natural, her moans confirming she enjoyed the exploration as well, her body curving into mine in beautiful submission. “You’re perfect,” I praised, kissing a path along her jaw and tenderly nipping her pulse before pressing my lips to her ear. “I’ve wanted you since that first night,” I admitted softly. “But you’ve been the forbidden fruit I couldn’t taste. All that ended tonight, pixie flower. You’re mine now, and I intend to take you thoroughly.”

I pulled back to catch her gaze, noting the reddening of her cheeks and the escalation of her breath. All signs of arousal, except for the hint of fear in her eyes, the one I’d placed there earlier with Raph’s demonstration.

I didn’t like seeing that glimmer in her eyes.

But I could respect it.

“I’m not an easy lover, Aflora,” I warned her. “Pain intrigues me, and I favor control. But you’re in charge here. Always. You need to tell me if I push you too far. Until I can trust you to do that, we’ll go easy on each other. Both in your mind and outside of it. The kind of relationship I prefer takes time.” Kols was the only one in my life who had ever truly reached the level of trust I required, which was why we often shared women. He kept me balanced. Told me when I took it too far.

And in turn, I protected him.

Or I tried, anyway.

Two times I’d failed now, the second of which being the female gazing up at me now.

However, I hadn’t failed just him this time, but myself, too.

Worse, I couldn’t bring myself to regret it. Not this time. Not with Aflora submitting so beautifully beneath me.

She didn’t question my preferences.

Didn’t balk at them.

Merely accepted them with a slight nod and an adorable little lick of her lips. It wasn’t enough but definitely served as a start.

“Tonight I’m just going to taste you,” I told her. “But consider this an introductory warning for what I will eventually want from you. Now grab the headboard and don’t come until I give you permission.”

She shivered but lifted her arms in the perfect display of obedience. I half expected her to fight me, to argue, to say something to the contrary. Yet she seemed completely enthralled, as if I were acting on a fantasy she long harbored. Maybe she did. We were playing in her mind, after all. She couldtry to take over, if she wanted to. However, she appeared content to let me lead, and I adored her all the more for it.

I sensed Shade slipping into the periphery of her mind, having found a way around my block.

It’d be easy to kick him out, to eject him yet again, but I let him stay this time. It was my job as headmaster to teach, so I’d show him how this was done.

Kols’s amusement touched my mind, his years of experience showing as he guessed my motive for allowing Shade to remain on the edge. He knew I loved to taunt, and taunt I would.

“Are you ready for me, Aflora?” I asked softly.

She nodded.

And I shook my head. “Words, pixie flower. Give me words.” That was the first lesson in trust—communicating openly and verbally.

“Y-yes, except I’m still not sure if this is real or not.”

“It’s fantasy,” I whispered, nuzzling her. “A joint fantasy.”

“In my head.”

“Yes.”

“With you being in control, like Kols and Shade.”

“With me being in control, but I’m nothing like Kols or Shade, Aflora.” I sank my teeth into her lower lip, drawing blood in the process and groaning at the exquisite taste of her.

She sucked in a breath in reply, goose bumps pebbling along her arms and spreading to her delicious tits. Her nipples hardened into beautiful little points that begged for my mouth, but I wouldn’t indulge in them until I had her full understanding and consent.

“This is a dream,” I murmured. “One I’m influencing in your mind.”

“Okay.”
