Rhys shook his head and grabbed my hand. “My brother-in-law has a name for people like you, but because I’m actually a good boy, I’m not going to call you a fuckwit.”

“Um, Rhys, you just did.” I couldn’t help but giggle.

Rhys turned to me and grinned. “Whoops.” He turned back to Devon, his face sterner than I’d ever seen. “I don’t know why you keep chasing the Masters when they have said no every single time. I’m honestly still surprised you attend the club with how often you talk shit about its members.” Rhys’s voice had grown a little louder and other members had turned to look.

Devon shook his head angrily before leaning forward and whispering, “Listen, twerp, you found your meal ticket. Let the rest of us find ours.”

“That’s why you can’t keep anyone. You treat them like things and not people. You roll your eyes at us Littles and make fun of the Submissives. What the hell are you even doing here? You don’t have a kinky bone in your body, you’re just looking for someone to replace your last Daddy.”

“I joined the club and got my membership here just like everyone else. If they didn’t want me they wouldn’t have invited me out to Crimson House, would they?” Devon countered, looking smug.

I grabbed Rhys’s hand and tugged gently. I didn’t like this boy, and he had eyes for my Daddies. I was not going to let some pretty boy with blue eyes steal them away from me after I’d only just found them.

“You can’t have them,” I stammered out.

Both Devon and Rhys turned to look at me.

“What did you say?” Devon stepped forward. It was my chest he poked his pink nail into this time.

“I said you can’t have them. They are off the market. And besides, you can’t just force people to want to be with you.” Rhys nodded in approval as I spoke, and it gave me the bravery to keep going. “You don’t seem very nice, and my Daddiesarevery nice, and they’re good people.”

I’d had to put up with bullying from my father. I wasn’t going to take it now.

“YourDaddies?” He said it with such mockery that for the first time in my life I considered punching someone in the nose. But before I made such a rash decision, a large hand wrapped around my waist and Papa stood alongside me.

“Devon? What are you doing here?” Papa sounded confused.

“Ah, that might be my fault.” Sam came forward with Daddy, looking embarrassed “When I sent out the invitations I assumed that Devon was still Master Douglas’s plus one. I hadn’t realised they’d broken up, or that Devon had caused a scene in the Leeds club last week.”

Papa frowned looking at Devon and I silently hoped I never earned a look like that from him. He was beyond pissed off.

“Well, I’m here now. Can’t we just overlook this little snafu?” Devon stepped forward, fluttering his lashes like some nineteen twenties movie star, and laid his hand on Papa’s arm.

I heard a growl, and realised it was coming from me.

Daddy caught my eye and gave a slight shake of his head. “Devon, as it’s a long drive back to Leeds and you are already here we won’t demand you leave, but you are on a warning. Any stunt like you pulled at the club last week and any more disrespect shown towards the members of this club and you can leave, and I don’t care if it’s a bloody snow storm outside. Do I make myself clear?”

Woah, Daddy was hot when he was being all growly.

Devon gave an insipid smile, glancing over at Rhys and I. “Of course Sirs. I didn’t realise the little redhead was your boy for this weekend.”

“He’s not our weekend boy.” My stomach dropped, until I saw Roman smile. “He’s our boy, full stop.”

A Dom I didn’t know clapped. “About time the two of you found your third.”

“Thank you, Aaron,” Papa said as he hugged me. “I think we should do a proper introduction. Sebastian, this is everyone. Everyone, this is our lovely boy Sebastian.”

I gave a shy wave.

Devon smiled coldly at me before he turned and walked away.

“Don’t let him worry you, love. I will be having words with Devon later but for now why don’t you and Rhys sit down and enjoy your food.” Daddy led us to some comfortable looking chairs and helped us with our plates.

Daddy knelt down next to my chair and laid a hand on my thigh. “Are you okay, Seb?”

I covered his hand with mine and gave him a smile, trying to reassure him. I didn’t trust that Devon was going to leave well enough alone, but I didn’t want Roman and Marco to worry too much. They had the whole Christmas party to run. Besides, once Lilly got here, between her Rhys and myself we could keep an eye on Devon.

“I’m good Daddy, though I am a bit worried about Lilly. She’s not here yet.”
