“You two are gross,” Salvatore muttered as he leaned over the seat to grab a wad of cash out of the case after George opened it. He flicked through the stack of bills, before he licked his fingers and started counting it.
Montgomery rolled his eyes and returned his attention to Stone. “Are you going to tell me how you came up with the deal with Kaden, and why you didn’t tell me about it?”
Stone shrugged. “Ask George.”
George cleared his throat. “Everyone has their price, but for some people, it’s not about money. Your ex is a proud man who believes in justice.”
“He’s not my ex,” Montgomery muttered, but George continued as though he hadn’t heard him.
“Detective Jax was very interested in the proof of Booker’s… criminal behavior. So much so that he was willing to look past ours.” George leaned back in the leather seat, his arms crossed over his chest. He certainly looked accomplished, and Montgomery couldn’t blame him. He had managed to convince a detective to play on their side.
Montgomery leaned into Stone, laying kisses along the clean-shaven jaw. “I suppose I should be thankful, then. Maybe even give Kaden a blowjob in appreciation for his help?”
Stone’s hands gripped Montgomery’s arms, tightening hard enough that it hurt. His gaze darkened. “You made your choice, Monty, and that was me. You won’t be sucking another dick unless I give you permission.”
Montgomery pecked Stone’s nose with his lips. “Wasn’t in my plans, big guy.”
“You’re both gross,” Salvatore repeated. It earned him a punch in the shoulder from whoever was driving. If Montgomery could guess, he’d say it was Ardan. The others were meant to meet them at the warehouse.
“You’re just jealous.” Montgomery attacked Stone’s lips.
“Fuck off,” Salvatore grumbled, but Montgomery didn’t give a damn. He was too busy making Stone’s lips his own.
