I helped him off with his pants, pushing them down as our lips pressed feverishly together again. His hard dick brushed against my inner thigh, and then it was slipping between my folds, hitting the right spot deep in me immediately.
“Kane,” I gasped, burying my head in his chest and clutching at his shoulders.
He muttered something into my neck that sounded vaguely like my name, the sweat rolling off his back and slipping beneath my palms. The movement of his hips was slow and steady, and he seemed to read the pleasure building in me, knowing when to give more force and when to back off.
As the ecstasy took me over again I dug my nails into his side, yelling into his chest. He kept going, driving into me deeper and faster until he was moaning with his own release.
I let my head fall back against a pillow, the room bobbing in a weird way as if we were under water. He stayed on top of me, nuzzling his face into my neck.
“You taste so fucking sweet. That was better than back at the house.”
I laughed. “How so?”
“You haven’t kicked me out yet.”
“Hmmm, true,” I murmured. “There’s only one room here. If I kicked you out you’d have to sleep in the Jeep.”
He raised an eyebrow at me.
“I won’t really make you do that.”
“Good,” he whispered.
I took a deep breath and relaxed, enjoying the quiet around us, the softness of the blankets beneath me, and the weight of Kane’s body on top of mine.
The first gentlerays of sunlight were enough to wake me up. I stretched and groaned before cracking first one lid and then another. It wasn’t full light yet, and the last blackened logs from the fire the night before were only smoldering on top a pile of ashes.
Kane was nowhere to be found. I sat up and listened, my frantic heartbeat getting in the way. Had he just gone to the bathroom? Or outside for a moment? I hated to admit it, but I was afraid of being alone. He had promised me no one would be able to find us at the ranch, but hadn’t I been given the same promise when it came to the safe house in Tucson?
The back door creaked open and closed, and I held completely still as footsteps sounded in the hall.
As Kane appeared in the doorway I was finally able to suck in some air.
“Hi,” he said softly.
“Hi,” I answered, and then noticed what looked like a dead pig hanging from one of his hands. “Wow. What’s that?”
“A javelina. You’ve never seen one?”
“Not close up. You caught that?”
He nodded and grinned.
“Damn. You really can do everything.”
“I’ll go clean it up,” he said as he turned back around and headed outside.
“Great,” I replied uncertainly, climbing to my feet and grabbing my jeans from the day before.
By the time I had showered, dressed, and did what I could to straighten up our little living area, he was back with a hunk of raw meat.
“Can you get started cooking this while I clean up?” he asked, his arms covered in dirt and a bit of blood.
“Um.”
“What?”
“Yeah, sorry,” I offered. “College student? I basically live off of pasta and the hot bar at Whole Foods.”
Kane chuckled low and edged closer to me. “It looks like I have some things to teach you.”
“I guess so,” I said softly, suddenly not even minding the grime covering him.
I tilted my face up as he leaned down to kiss me. I shouldn’t have been getting used to this, but it felt too good to turn him away. The warmth of his kiss seeped through my skin, rivaling the heat of the sun rising outside.
