Another lick, another suck on her clit.
“I want you to come for me, baby.” He added a third finger, sending her to the stars.
“Chance,” Ginger shouted, thrashing beneath him. Her breaths were uneven and ragged. Her legs shook as he continued to work her into a frenzy.
Just when she thought she couldn’t take anymore, he positioned his cock at her entrance. “Do you want my cock inside of you?” he asked, his voice filled with lust.
“Yes!”
He slammed deep inside of her in one swift motion, pausing after he was fully seated to let her adjust to his size.
“I’ve dreamed of this since the moment I knew you were my mate,” he said before leaning in to kiss her.
“I dreamed of it even before I knew,” she whispered in between kisses.
“Really? And was the dream as good as this?” He pulled out to the tip and slammed back into her, making her body shake.
“Chance!” she cried out.
“Or this?” He circled his hips, ramming into her again.
“This is so much better,” she panted in between his wicked thrusts.
“I’m glad to hear it.” He stretched his body over hers, lifting her arms above her head. He licked and kissed her neck, pounding in and out of her.
“So much better.” Her nails scored his back, her legs wrapping around his waist.
She felt his fangs graze her neck in the exact spot he had bitten her in the dream. This time, instead of being freaked out, she turned her head and offered him a better angle.
He didn’t hesitate, striking instantly. Her climax crashed into her, leaving her feeling as if her body had shattered into millions of tiny pieces.
Her wolf charged forward before Ginger could stop her and buried her fangs deep in Chance’s neck. His blood coated her tongue. His memories became hers. A range of heightened emotions flooded her senses.
Ginger felt her soul knitting together, finally whole for the first time in her life.

Ginger’s eyelids fluttered open, and she realized it was morning, Christmas morning. Watching the stray snowflakes sparkle past the sunlit window, it felt like it was her very first Christmas.
In many ways, it was. Everything she’d lost had found her. She was home. Her mate’s side of the bed was still warm, but she heard him in the kitchen, making coffee. Slipping from under the covers, she donned her robe and went to find him.
It wouldn’t be long before James and his family arrived, along with Sofia and Lars, Chance’s huge family and whomever else decided to swing by. She just needed a little longer, alone with Chance.
“Come here,” he said, leading her to the Christmas tree. “I have a small gift for you.”
“Wait! Me first.” She was adamant. Picking out a tiny box from under the tree, she handed it to him.
Unwrapping the green and red foil paper, he opened a little plastic box. Lifting out a gold pendant which was suspended from a gold chain, he held it up. It was two wolves standing together. He read the inscription on the back. “Chance and Ginger. Mates in this life and the next.”
“Well, what do you think? I also got you a new hammer. Oh, and a little mistletoe. Just in case you want to nail me to the mattress a few times before company shows up,” she laughed.
But Chance’s mood was serious, and he knelt in front of her. Opening a little white box, he removed a white gold ring. Gleaming diamonds formed two entwined hearts. He took her hand. Before placing the ring on her finger, he read the inscription from inside the gold band.
“I will love you forever, in this life and the next.” Slipping it on her ring finger, he asked, “marry me?”
“Yes! Of course!” she squealed, wrapped in his arms as soon as he stood up.
Carrying her back to the bedroom, he laid her on the mattress and kissed her. “Now, what was that about nailing you?”
