Randall took a step closer to me, and I felt a familiar pang of excitement. Mixed with my anger and confusion, it was strangely intoxicating. There was no denying it. Whatever I felt about Randy and his actions, my body had very different feelings toward him. It stirred, softened, and melted in his presence.

Randall just stared at me, unwavering. A moment where the room stayed the same, but inside we were both changing, our feelings becoming something else, reflected back into each other’s widening eyes. It was something we had experienced before, and we wanted more of. There were no words. We both could feel it.

“Fuck. I’m going to kiss you now.” He finally said.

My eyes simmered as I looked into his.

“Then do it already.”

His lips pressed against mine, and suddenly the world melted away into nothing but that moment.

His hands came and met my hips, pulling my body tightly against his. All my conflicting feelings turned into desire as our hands reached out to touch each other, our mouths embracing and sharp explosions erupting inside. As we broke away from each other, our breath was hot and heavy with excitement.

I turned my head and pulled away from him.

“You think I’d just get it on with you, just like that?”

Part of me wanted him to keep going, but I was still angry and frustrated, still trying to rationalize and validate my feelings.

Randall looked down at his fingers, as if there was some unusual piece of dirt under his nails. Then he looked at me again, his head cocked in his more usual and confident manner, and those piercing blue eyes, flat and hypnotic, set their stare on me again.

“Well. Wouldn’t you?”

Fuck.

All my rational thoughts said, no. But my body had different ideas. All it wanted was him. The expression on his face told me he was feeling the same, that he would happily answer those deep wells of desire in me.

Fuck.

As his hands slipped across my hips again and pulled me to him, we couldn’t take our eyes from each other. There was fire and fury in them. Our animal sides were now running the show, and a show was what we craved as our fingers entwined, dancing with each other’s.

From outside the room, there was the sound of a door swinging open and Randall jumped, snapping us both out of the moment.

“Shit! Quick, hide!”

“What?”

“Coach doesn’t let girls in here. Please!”

The fear in his face told me it wasn’t a question, and I quickly scanned the dressing room, but there was nowhere to go in time. In a flash, Randy flung open the locker behind me and ushered me in before I could even think twice about it.

Through the three ventilation grills in the locker door, I watched as Coach Brady strode into the room.

“Randy?”

“Hey, coach. I… Er, forgot my watch.” Randy’s voice sounded trapped and uncertain.God, he really was a terrible liar.

Coach Brady might have been rapidly expanding around his belly with gray wisps of hair tucked under his baseball cap, but his size and authoritative demeanor made him imposing as he looked sternly across at Randy. Then he pointed one finger at him.

“I think I found it for you, Randy. It’s right there on your wrist.”

Oh,” Randy said, in half-hearted surprise. “Yeah. I mean, I got it just now. From the locker!”

Randy’s eyes flickered nervously to the locker that I was hiding in as I watched and tried not to make a sound.

Coach Brady continued to stare at Randy, slowly considering what was going on, then, after a moment, decided it wasn’t really something he cared about either way.

“Okay, Randy. Well, time to go. I’ve got the U team seniors in for night practice. You gotta get out of here.“
