“Um.” She smiles up at me and then Harry. “I saw a coffee place across the street. I’m going to grab some. You guys?”

“Yeah, that’d be great, thanks.”

“Black coffees all around?”

“In honor of Seth,” Harry jokes.

“Seth’s a big coffee drinker?” I ask.

“No, he hates it,” Harry chuckles.

“Okay, well...” She eyes him quizzically. “I’ll get coffees for us and Nick. I’ll be back in a few.”

I allow myself the few moments of watching Seneca walk off in her tight jeans and oversized purple top that hangs off one shoulder, exposing her tank top beneath.

“He’s a good kid, you know.”

Harry’s words pull my attention off of Seneca’s fine ass and back to his ugly face.

“Seth?”

“Yeah.”

“Is he?” Standing taller, I look Harry in the eye. “’Cause there’s nothing I’ve seen that would make me think that.”

“I think he is.”

“Well, you sure as hell spend a lot more time with him than I do, doing the books and shit. All I see is him chasing after Sen, and the thing is, I don’t even think he likes her all that much.”

“Why would you say that?”

“First, because he threw a brick through her window,” I say.

“He did what?”

“Yup. And then you should have heard the things he was saying to her outside—about passing her around to the guys and being next.” Anger courses through me and my hands ball into fists. Maybe I should have left him to die.

“I’m sorry to hear that. That isn’t the Seth I know.”

“Yeah, well, that’s why they call him Dynamite, right?” Nodding in Nick’s direction, I turn back to Harry. “What’shisdeal?”

“He’s worried. You know infighting in the Knights is against the rules for him. He doesn’t need dissension in the ranks. What if we have another surprise attack by the Dogs, and you and Seth choose that time to settle your differences?”

I glare at him. “I can’t believe you’re saying this to me. Do you really think I’d choose my own agenda over the brotherhood?”

“I think you’d defend your woman.”

“Wouldn’t you?”

Harry shakes his head. “I don’t have…”

“Oh bullshit, Harry. Come on. I don’t know what kind of game you and Celia are playing, but it affects you just as much as Sen affects me.”

“But Celia’s on the outside. She’s not part of the club. I can keep her separate. Nick was just saying that fighting over a woman is trouble. And I’m afraid it’s become pretty clear that the last time we had infighting was when Tess was here, and now, it’s because of Seneca.”

“He’s blaming her?” I’m incensed, but I need to pull my shit together. Walking away from Harry a few feet, I take a deep breath before looping back up to him. I get in his face. “And do you agree?”

“Well...” Harry sighs as his wide shoulders rise up and down. “I don’t know what to think.”
