The moment he slid into the water next to me, it was like someone ignited a firecracker between us. The feeling that came over me was one I’d never experienced before. I was so drawn to him, so wrapped up in the wild, reckless adventure we were on tonight that I inched closer. I was so close I could feel the warmth emanating from his skin and the pull was so magnetic, I couldn’t fight it. I didn’t want to.

I looked up through my thick eyelashes, reading the look on Claymore’s face clearly. He hesitated about getting any closer, and without thinking, I caressed his cheek, pressing my lips to his. I felt the rush course through me, every fiery sensation making me want more. The water burbled and babbled as he wrapped his strong, muscular arms around me. I rested my hand on his chest, feeling the tightness of his muscles right before we got lost in each other.

He grabbed a handful of my hair, kissing me hard, his tongue toying with mine as we moved to a shallower spot. There was something so intoxicating about the way he tasted, about the way he held me close. I felt safe with him even as he drove me wild. He pulled me onto him, my legs wrapping around his waist. His tongue teased me and I bit down playfully on his lip, guiding his hand down my body to my legs. He smirked, lifting me up out of the water, diving right between my legs.

He ran his fingers along my wet panties and it was pulled so tight my pussy lips were starting to escape. I looked down at him, blushing in anticipation while he slowly peeled them off of me. I felt his fingers on my pussy lips, the wetness of his long hair falling into his eyes while he got a good look at me. He spread my legs wider, taking in every inch, every little detail. His fingertips brushed against my clit while he held my gaze and I smiled. I knew he liked to tease me, learning every move that made my body quiver or my heart quicken. He barely even touched me and I already knew he was going to drive me insane. He pulled my leg out of the water and kissed up my inner thighs, making his way to my pussy lips and I let out a little moan when his tongue found its way inside.

He licked the silky wetness near my opening, his fingers sliding inside and I threw my head back when the pleasure started to build. It was a quick sensation, like the rise of a wave during high tide. He sucked on my clit until it began to swell in his mouth and I couldn’t contain the moans any longer.

He reached up, his fingertips brushing against my décolletage, feeling me squirm under him. His hand slipped inside my bra, guiding my breast out. He stopped for a moment, taking my hard nipple into his mouth. He trailed kisses down the small of my stomach, all the way back to my wet pussy which only begged for more.

Every kiss, every lick consumed me, overwhelming me with a sense of heightened electric pleasure that couldn’t wait to be released. The orgasm begged to be let out and I held on tight for just a bit longer. I guided his head up to me, my fingers entangled in that shoulder-length hair of his, my eyes traveling down his toned, muscular body. He kissed me while his fingers slipped inside my pussy, fingering me until I moaned loudly in his mouth.

His lips returned to my wet, glistening pussy as his tongue grazed and stroked every inch of me. I squirmed, my lips quivering, feeling his tongue plunge deeper into my opening. He nibbled and gnawed at my swollen clit, his fingers were in all the right places, pushing me right over the edge. I held onto the natural rocky edge of the springs, feeling the orgasm ripple through me hard and fast. My breath quickened, my heart pounded, and I desperately wanted to sink right into him.

He explored every part of me, his hands dancing across my skin, and my body begged for him.No. No. I can’t do this. I promised myself I wouldn’t.I glanced down at his mess of hair, snapping back to reality when it dawned on me what nearly happened. I slipped out of his grasp, watching him quickly pull away.I promised myself I wouldn’t get involved with someone like you.

“Ella? Are you okay?”

I shook my head. He leaned in, tucking my blonde curls behind my ears comfortingly. I was surprised that he didn’t try again, that he didn’t push me. He kissed me softly on the forehead and in that moment, I felt safe.

“We don’t have to do this, Ella. It’s okay,” he said.

“I’m sorry. Claymore, I’m sorry. I can’t go there with you. This will complicate everything.”

He nodded. I watched his face fall, the look in his eyes somber but understanding. He got up, slipping out of the hot water, giving me some space. I got dressed again, curling up on the sandy ground, hoping I’d be able to relax. Claymore didn’t say another word. He laid his leather jacket over my body and the warmth instantly comforted me. I was about to tell him that I didn’t need it, but he was already on the other side of the spring. He braced up against the rock, drifting off to sleep himself.

Chapter Five

Claymore

The Sedona sun beat down on me, and I woke up bright and early, feeling the sand between my fingers as it clicked where I was. I jolted up, running my hands through my hair, squinting as my eyes adjusted to the bright morning light. I spotted Ella over by the springs, clutching my leather jacket tightly as she slept. In that moment, every memory, every touch, every feeling from last night came rushing back. I furrowed my brow, wondering what the hell really happened, what made her change her mind.

I knew I’d go crazy if I thought about it too much. Part of me wondered if she was right, if getting too close right now was a bad idea. It was only a matter of time before the Kings and her dear ol’ brother found out she was with me. She was vulnerable, she was in danger, and I sure as hell would never take advantage of that. I jumped into action, feeling my neck hurt from the way I’d been sleeping last night, getting up onto my feet.

I walked over to her, bending down, trying not to kick up too much sand under my boots. I shook her gently, hearing her tired little noises begging for more sleep.

“Rise and shine, darlin’. We’ve gotta move.”

“Hm?”

“Come on, Ella. We gotta get going.”

Her eyelids fluttered open slightly and she squinted through the crescents of her eyelashes. She slowly got up, her strawberry blonde curls a mess, but she looked as beautiful as ever. She smiled warmly at me for a moment until her expression fell, her eyes widened, and I imagined what happened last night finally hit her. She shook it off, not so much as mentioning it and I did too.Maybe it really is for the best.

Ella handed me my leather jacket and I smiled, nodding over at the empty, barren desert before us. She sighed deeply and I knew the last thing she wanted to do was get right back to trekking again. I grabbed her duffle bag and we began our walk. The sun was high in the sky by the time I actually spotted a building in the distance. I looked over at Ella to see her entire face light up.

“Is that a gas station?”

“Yes. It is. Hungry?” I asked, and she nodded quickly.

“Starved.”

I chuckled, and we made our way inside. The cold gust of air hit us quickly, and I basked in it after spending so much time in the Sedona heat. Ella made her way over to the pizza and pre-made sandwiches sitting on the hot food table. I headed toward the back refrigerators to get us both some water. I walked back over to the register to find her reaching into her pocket to pay, and I stopped her.

“I got it.”

“You can’t keep doing this, Claymore. Let me at least get this.”
