She’ll see that soon enough because now, I only want her more. I wasn’t happy watching that kid fuck her on the diner’s bar like I’ve longed to do since I laid eyes on her. I didn’t expect that kind of behavior from her, but it fuels my desire.

I couldn’t tear my eyes away as the kid clumsily drove in and out of her. I couldn’t hear her moans, but it felt like I could when I saw her lips open.

I will have her. Somehow, I will make her mine.

Such a pure girl.

I want to corrupt her. I’m a devil, wanting to drag the delicate angel down with me to hell, something I should feel bad about.

But I stopped feeling bad a long time ago.

I will show her things she’s never dreamed of.

“Someday you’ll be screaming my name, begging for me, and I’ll give you everything.”

Someday soon.

Chapter Eight

London stays on my mind, not just for the night but for a couple days after that. It doesn’t matter what I do or where I go, all I think about is her. I’ve never felt this way about someone, and it reasserts what I already know.

To get back to my regular life, I need to have her, possess her. I need her here to still these thoughts and to get rid of the memories that keep flooding in after she unknowingly triggered them.

No longer able to fight the impending thoughts, I close my eyes and lean back in my desk chair, hoping to rest before I deal with what comes next.

It’s been more than a year since I’ve seen the pastor, but the church looks unchanged as I pull up to it. It’s still rather desolate despite the flock the shepherd promised to bring in, which is great because I need to talk to him privately.

The pastor is attending to things this time when I walk in, rather than on his knees whispering nothings to whatever God he believes in.

He has an unlit candle in his hand. I clear my throat. The candle falls as he turns and sees me. His face is pale, and he says a quick prayer as I approach him.

“I’ve been making my regular payments on time since I’ve seen you last,” he saysheatedly. “What brings the devil into my holy place when I’ve done everything to shield myself from him? You have no reason to be here.”

“Your holy place?” I scoff. “Any place run by you is far from holy. I know how much you’ve tainted the church you claim to lead and love. I keep tabs on people who owe me money, remember? I know everything you’ve been up to.”

The pastor pales. “It’s not like you haven’t done far worse than anything I’ve done,” he retorts. “My sins since then have been committed for the sole purpose of saving this church. Jesus forgives all who love him.”

“I don’t believe that for a minute. All your sins have been committed for the sole purpose of saving your reputation, which I know you cherish above all else. But I’m not here to argue morality with you. I’m here to make you an offer.”

“An offer?” the pastor’s eyebrows raise with interest.

A businessman first and a pastor second.

“Yes. I know you’ve been smuggling drugs through this ‘holy place’, and I know that can only last so long before you get caught. You’re taking huge risks to make your payments. So, to take the weight off you, I’ll absolve your debt in exchange for your daughter. Hell, I’ll even throw in an extra 50k for your benefit.”

The precious girl with the sweet eyes, yet to be brought into the darkness that I know so well, grabbed my attention during my last visit. As much as I enjoy corrupting things and would likely be the first man to lay with her, I know several of our members would have just as much fun testing her purity until she’s as dirty and deformed as the rest of us.

I’ve kept tabs on her, and she is of age now. I just have to make sure she’s still a virgin. In a normal world, something like this wouldn’t happen. But nothing about my life is anything close to ordinary.

I want what I want. I get what I want. I haven’t stopped thinking of her since I saw her in that pure white dress. I want her.

“Of course!” He sounds too relieved, and I still can’t believe he’d so willingly hand over his daughter. “I’ll make sure she is ready.”

I’ve never doubted the kind of man he is. He’d trade everything if it meant he got to keep up his ruse as the perfect pastor. I wonder what lies he’d come up with to explainher disappearance.
