“My God, Travis.” She’s breathless. “That was unreal. Is it always like that?”
I pull her close to me and plant little kisses on her head.
“It's however we want to make it, angel. I had six years of cum, six years of waiting built up inside me that I had to give you. You’ll hurt tomorrow, but next time I’ll be gentler. I promise.”
She gives me that shy smile. “What if I don’t want it gentle?”
My cock hardens at her words.
“Angel, you can have it any way you want. We’ve got an entire lifetime to figure it out.”
She nestles against me, content and happy, and her breathing soon becomes regular as she falls into sleep.
I pull the blanket over the both of us and hold her close. I got everything I ever wanted, and it’s so much more than I ever expected.
EPILOGUE
KENDRA
One year later…
The scowl on Travis’s face lets me know I’m in trouble even before he opens his mouth.
“I told you not to work today, angel.”
I sling the apron over my head defiantly. The tie at the back almost doesn’t come together over my round belly, but I manage to secure it.
“Jeez, Travis. It’s only pregnancy. I can still work.”
He rubs my belly. “I’d prefer it if you didn’t.”
“You’re short on staff. It’s a quiet lunch shift. I’m just going to wait a few tables for a couple of hours. There’s nothing to worry about.”
He looks uncertain. But then Maggie calls out a food order, and I give him a kiss on the cheek and waddle off before he can tell me off again.
It’s sweet how protective Travis has been since I got pregnant. But I wouldn’t do anything to endanger the baby. I’ve cut my shifts back, not because of the pregnancy but because of my studies. I’m taking an online psychology course. It will be a few years of study doing it part time, but when I’m done, I’ll be a qualified therapist.
With the scowl still on his face, Travis takes a seat at the bar. That’s where he always works when I’m on shift. He says he thinks better there, but I know it’s because he can keep an eye on me. My overprotective man. It makes me feel safe and cared for.
I’m taking a tray of drinks to a table when Quentin strides into the bar. He frowns at my stomach and takes the tray off me.
I give a long sigh.
“Jeez. Between the two of you, a girl can’t do anything anymore.”
He turns his frown on Travis. “What are you doing letting her work?”
Travis shrugs. “You ever try to stop your sister from doing something she really wants to do?”
Quentin still hasn’t gotten the used to the idea of us being together, even though we’re married now.
We had a quiet ceremony in the Wild Chapel officiated by the Prez. With so many of his MC getting married, he got himself ordained.
It was our MC family and some of our friends from the other side of the mountain. I’ve gotten to know the people on Wild Heart Mountain and the small but tight community who lives here.
I just wish that Quentin would accept me and Travis. He gave me away at the wedding, but he’s still coming around to the idea.
With both of them scowling at me, I know when I’m beaten.
