I take it slow, covering Charlie with kisses and working her into a frenzy until she comes undone.
When her climax subsides, I roll her over and climb on top. Her hair sticks up in pink spikes, and she’s wearing no makeup. She hasn’t worn any makeup since the day we rode off together. And I like it. I like seeing her like this, completely naked and sprawled on the bed. She’s a vision.
“You’re beautiful, Charlotte.”
She smiles a sexy, lazy smile. “So are you.”
I rise up above her and thrust deep inside. Her back arches as she takes me all in. I’ll never get tired of this sight. Of Charlie before me, vulnerable and trusting.
Once inside I lean forward, wanting to be near her. Her breath grazes my lips, and our eyes lock.
“I love you.”
Her eyes light up at the words and I thrust deep, my gaze never leaving hers.
‘’I love you too.”
Our bodies move together in sync. We breathe together, and our hearts beat in tune.
When the pressure starts to build, I pull her hips upward, sending me deeper inside and providing more friction.
“Quentin…” She pants my name, and I can tell she’s close.
“Come for me.” At my words she falls apart, and I fall with her. My orgasm detonates through my body and into her, and I wonder if my aim will be true. If this is the time I’ll plant a baby in her belly.
We lie together afterwards with her head on my chest and my arm around her. My fingertips idly stroke her hip.
“What do you want to do today?”
She gives me a cheeky smile, and her hand strays between my legs. “I can think of something.”
It’s another two hours before we’re dressed and ready to leave the motel to look for lunch. We’re about to head out when there’s a knock on the motel door.
I pull it open and come face to face with Raiden.
I stiffen and step in front of the door, blocking him from entry. If he’s come here to take Charlie back, then he’ll have to get past me.
“What are you doing here?”
He looks grim, and there are dark lines under his eyes. His gaze darts past me, and there’s relief when he sees Charlie.
Raiden holds his hands up and takes a step back. “I’m not here to cause trouble. Can I come in?”
Charlie comes up behind me and slides her arm around my waist.
“Only if you behave.”
Raiden nods and I step back from the door, eyeing him warily.
There’s a small table opposite the bed with two chairs, and he takes a seat. I remain standing, and Charlie perches on the end of the bed.
“How did you find us?” I ask.
He looks at Charlie. “Don’t be mad. Davis told me.”
Charlie scowls. “Snitch,” she mutters. The genial bartender was worried about her, and she’s been staying in touch and letting him know we were okay.
“It’s not his fault,” Raiden says. “I can be pretty convincing when I want to be.”
