Still kissing me, he helps remove my blanket. With shaky fingers, I open the zip of my coat.

When he lifts his sweater, I undress as well, fighting a sudden bout of shyness.
I scoot inside the sleeping blanket. Fallon gets in and covers us.
“What’s the matter?”
He picks up my braid, unravels it, spreads the strands around my head.
