Rule two?
Don’t show weakness.
Rule three?
Don’t back down.
The air is charged with electricity as the beta sizes me up. He looks a little familiar, now that I’m staring at him. He might be in my circle time group.
I shoot him a wink that has him blinking in surprise, and in the next second, the airhorn goes off.

Perhaps I need to change my nickname for Jo from Little Fox to Wild Fox, because she is an absolute sight to behold.
We find spots at the bottom of the bleachers, and the moment the airhorn goes off, she’s flying at the beta. She uses her hands to grip his shoulders and essentially climbs him as she places one foot on his thigh, then throws her other leg above his shoulder and over his head. She closes her legs, clamping his shoulder between them, and drops her body weight.
His balance thrown off, the beta drops to his knees, and Jo controls it using a roll, putting him on his back. Her grip switches fromhis shoulders to his arm that she had trapped between her legs as she holds him by the wrist and pulls back, trapping his body with her legs.
The entire thing takes less than ten seconds.
“Holy fucking shit,” Hayden gasps next to me, adjusting his pants. “Was that a flying arm bar? Who the hell trained her?”
My brows raise at his comment. I have never been formally trained in violence, it has always come naturally to me. So, I don’t have the official name for the move she just pulled. My eyes dart down to his hand, where he’s still trying to hide his boner.
“Did that just make you hard,Bratishka?”
The pyro’s cheeks flush a little before his bravado is back. “Fuck yeah, it did. Don’t tell me seeing Fireball take down a man twice her size in five seconds didn’t make you hard as a rock.”
I turn my attention back to my omega, who is now about two seconds from breaking the dickhole beta’s arm. I’m pretty sure he’s one of the ones that was with Carson when I caught them talking about Jo. So I don’t feel bad for the beta at all when we all hear the tell-tale sound of bone snapping.
The crowd lets out a collective, “Oh!”
“Oof,” Hayden winces, and I find myself throwing an arm around his shoulder.
“He was talking to Carson about assaulting Jo last week.”
“Nevermind.” My pack brother nods once, his gaze hardening. Then he cups his hands around his mouth like a megaphone. “Break his other arm, Fireball!”
I smile at the pyro. I am not interested in a sexual relationship with the man, but I won’t deny that his and Jo’s dynamic is sexy as hell. The way he listened when I told him what to do? Fuck. No, I don’t think I will mind being in a pack with the pyromaniac one bit.
My arm slides off the other alpha’s shoulders as Jo stands in the ring with a hand on her hip while the beta lays on the ground, clutching his arm in pain. I should feel guilty for devouring her body with my eyes while she's in that ring being forced to fight, but the way the leggings hug her curves is absolutely sinful. Not to mention what that sports bra does for her cleavage. The outfits they have us in on a daily basis don’t do justice to her body—and my dick is taking notice.
“What the hell do I have to do to get you guys to end this match?” She shouts over the crowd in the direction of the airhorn. “Tear the rest of the arm off and beat him with it?”
Thathas the airhorn sounding, as if they’re afraid that she might do exactly that. Orderlies enter the ring, dragging the beta out by his feet as he whines and cries.
Since they run the fights in a “King of the Ring” fashion—or, in this case, Queen of the Ring—Lisichkawill stay in the ring until an opponent defeats her.
A small figure climbs in, and I roll my eyes when I see Paige Lawson enter. Hasn’t the bitch learned her lesson already? Does she think that she can kick Jo’s ass just because she is in a semi-controlled environment?
It doesn’t surprise me in the slightest that my Wild Fox looks positively gleeful at this turn of events.
The airhorn goes off, and Paige rushes Jo with a screech. My omega rolls her eyes before side-stepping the beta. Paige turns her head wildly, like she can’t quite figure out where Jo went.
Something is…off.
