Thor put a finger beneath his chin and tilted his head up. “You’ll make me hard again and our food will be here within a half hour. I want to take my time with you next time.” Then Thor kissed him, long and slow.

Thor said the nicest things.

When the kiss ended, Auggie carefully tucked Thor back into his pants. Then he put his fingers between the lovely cock and the zipper so the teeth didn’t bite Thor’s sensitive flesh.

“Mmm. You’ve got a gentle touch.” Thor told him. “Did you want to see anymore of the house before supper comes?”

“Could we…” He paused, unsure what Thor wanted.

“Tell me what you want,” Thor told him.

“Could we just stay here and snuggle?” He felt so stupid asking, but he felt so safe and comfortable in Thor’s arms.

“I would like that very much, boy.” Thor kissed him again, then tucked his head against Thor’s neck, and held him.

Oh. Auggie closed his eyes and lay against Thor. This was almost better than the sex had been. As they cuddled and Thorstroked his back and occasionally kissed the side of his head, he changed his mind. He was pretty sure this was even better than the sex had been.

He was almost disappointed when Thor’s phone binged, even though he realized he was very hungry at this point.

Thor checked his phone. “Food’s on the porch. I should go rescue it.” Thor kissed him, slowly, like their wasn’t food going cold on the porch, like he was more important than that.

Then Thor helped him get up and set him back down on the chair before heading off to get their food.

Auggie sat there, blinking and dazed. He didn’t know what to think other than that he wanted to stay here with Thor and get wrapped in that warm embrace on a regular basis. He felt like he could face anything if he had that to fall back on. Like honestly, anything.

He told himself to slow down. This wasn’t his place. They hadn’t even really been on a date. Or they’d been on a whole bunch of dinner dates, but that was it. A single shared orgasm didn’t mean they had a relationship.

To distract himself from his brain, he looked at Thor’s paintings again. They were beautiful. They were full of yearning and hope and wonder. There wasn’t one that he didn’t like, that didn’t speak to him. Had Thor really been thinking of him while he created them? He couldn’t help but hold out hope for their relationship if that was the honest-to-god truth.

He jumped when Thor cleared his throat.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you.”

“S’okay. I was just looking at your paintings.”

“Yeah? You like them?”

“They’re amazing. Truly.” They made him feel good, like Thor holding him had.

“They’re all you.”

He blushed hard and shook his head.

“No. Don’t do that. When I tell you something, I mean it. So you need to believe it.”

Thor saying that made his tummy fluttery and warm and he didn’t know why.

“The supper came?” he asked, going for a change of subject.

Thor chuckled, like he knew what Auggie was doing. Still, he let it happen. “I’ve set it up in the den. And I lit a fire.”

“That sounds cozy.”

“That was my intension.” Thor took his hand again and led him to the den.

Auggie really liked the way Thor’s hand felt around his, even if they were just walking from one room to the other. It made him feel like Thor cared.

They got to the den, and the crackling fire had warmed the whole place up. Thor led him right over to the couch and sat, tugging him down so he was sitting in Thor’s lap. Then Thor kissed the back of his hand before letting go of it.
