He lets his hand drift over my body, sending a ripple of electricity through me. He cups his hand over my belly. It’s been six months since we found out we were pregnant. My belly is a balloon with his son growing inside me.

“Our little family is going to be very happy here,” he whispers against my ear.

My heart leaps. He gently tugs the blindfold from my eyes, and I blink against the bright sun until my eyes adjust to the light.

Before me stands a beautiful stone cottage. Bigger than mine, with a gorgeous garden and a massive garage behind it.

“What is this?” I mutter.

“This is home,” he says. “For our family. Your cottage has served us well, but we need extra rooms for the little one. And you needed a bigger workshop, seeing as you’ll be working from home more. I’ve made sure you have everything you could possibly need in there,” he explains.

“A new home?” I say in excited disbelief.

“Our home,” he grins.

“Is it ready? When are we moving in?”

“It’s all ready, we can move in right now. The only thing I haven’t done is the baby's room because I thought we could decorate that together.”

I leap into his arms, grabbing his face in my hands and kissing him too many times to count. My heart is exploding with happiness. He did this all as a surprise. He kept it a secret, and I have no idea how.

Our new cottage is in a private area between the Omegas and the pack house. Across the meadow, we can see the other cottages, but we still have our own little space here. Our own little place for our family to grow.

Our pack is doing well. We are at peace, growing day by day. The new ways are helping us become stronger and stronger.

Jace is a brilliant leader. An incredible Alpha.

Marcus was exiled after what he did, and those who stood with him either left the pack or stayed to prove that they were wrong and willing to change. Everything is perfect. Our lives are happy.

Jace takes my hand and leads me into the cottage.

It’s absolutely perfect.

“Four bedrooms?” I say, thinking it’s a bit much.

“Don’t worry, we’ll build on when we have enough kids to fill those. There will be plenty of space.”

I burst out laughing. Six. He wants six children. I almost forgot.

Jace leads me around the entire place, excited to show me everything.

Finally, we settle in the living room on our new dark grey sofa.

“What are we having for dinner? We need to celebrate. Our first dinner in our new home,” he asks.

“He wants pizza with salami and mushrooms and alotof feta,” I declare, rubbing my belly and trying to suss out what this little wildling in my belly wants. “He won’t stop kicking,” I laugh. “I think he’s excited,” I grin.

“We’d better get him what he’s demanding then,” Jace laughs, sitting next to me on the sofa and pulling me against his side. “But are you sure he wants mushrooms. That’s gross,” he teases.

“I happen to really like mushrooms,” I scoff.

He pulls a face and shakes his head.

“You can pick the mushrooms off your slice,” I roll my eyes.

“Are you kidding. You eat two whole pizzas on your own with that little guy growing inside you. I’ll order one without mushrooms formydinner,” he grins.

“Did we decide on a name yet?” I ask Jace, snuggling into him.
