She shifted in his arms, rolling to face the blue creature that held her. She was still careful, not wanting to make the wrong move. She reached up and carefully touched his chin. Her hand was dwarfed compared to the size of his face. “Ee-rah…” She said softly.

The creature looked up and met her brown eyes with his icy, blue ones. He said something she didn’t understand.

“Will you help me?” She asked, pronouncing her words carefully. They needed to find a way to get past this language barrier. She touched her mouth. “Please?” She said and reached up to touch his mouth in turn.

It was then that the blue alien creature named Ee-rah jumped up off the bed. He glanced excitedly around the room until his gaze landed on the computer-like thing on the large desk against the wall.

Stephenie slowly sat up, ignoring the feeling of fluid leaking out of her and onto the bed. “What?” She asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

He gestured wildly to the computer. He moved his finger expertly across the air above the screen, and it glowed to life. He turned back to her and seemed to ask her a question.

“I don’t understand?” She said, frowning. He was obviously excited about something, but she didn’t know what. “What?” She asked again.

Ee-rah let out a frustrated grumble and gestured for her to join him in front of the computer.

Stephenie stood, wobbling on her feet for a moment, and made her way beside him. When she saw what was on the screen, she gasped.

It was the Milky Way galaxy. She recognized it from science class as a kid. She glanced up at him, her mouth hanging open like a fish. When he raised his eyebrows and gestured at her, she nodded her head vigorously. “Yes!” She said excitedly. “Yes, this is where I come from!”

He said something she didn’t understand and swiped the air above the screen again.

Stephenie watched as stars swam before her, their colors bouncing off the screen and reflecting on her face. Finally, he made it to the planets of the galaxy.

He said something again and then slowed his scrolling until he came to planet Earth. He turned to her, looking rather smug at his discovery.

Stephenie couldn’t help it. She threw herself at him, jumping and wrapping her arms and legs around him. “YES!” She cried, tears forming in her eyes. “Yes! This is my planet! This is where I come from!”

Ee-rah seemed taken aback by her response, but did not shove her away. Instead, he pulled her close to him and balanced her on his hip, his arm wrapped tightly around her waist. He used one hand to click on the planet.

A series of words she could not read filled the air above them. She watched as he pressed onto one of the words. A language she recognized from her home planet filled the air, but she still couldnot understand. When she looked at Ee-rah blankly, he clicked another one.

The same thing happened multiple times: Arabic, Chinese, Danish, until finally it came to English.

Stephenie shook him, unable to hold back her excitement, and pointed at the screen. “This! This one! I speak English!”

Ee-rah pressed the air where it said English and then a series of other things, his fingers flying a mile a minute. Images flew by on the computer screen before Stephenie could even figure out what it was she was looking at. Could he read that quickly? There was no way!

His fingers continued typing and then, as suddenly as he started, he stopped. He glanced over at her, giving her the faintest smile, and then pressed one button on the screen.

There was a strange noise that sounded an awful lot like a computer overheating, and then suddenly a red light beamed forward and landed directly in the center of his forehead. Stephenie flinched away. She had seen enough movies to know what a sniper laser looked like… But Ee-rah didn’t seem worried at all. In fact, he was now positively beaming.

“Okay, buddy… Let’s put away the laser. It’s freaking me out.” She started to pull away, but he held on to her tighter to keep her where she was.

A beat passed between them as he had finished with whatever it was he was doing, silence filling the air of the room. The red light disappeared as quickly as it had shown up.

“My mate?” Ee-rah finally said in perfect English.

Chapter 6

“Youcan understand me?” Stephenie gasped, sliding down from his arms to stand in front of him. She was surprised at how high she had to look up to meet the creature’s gaze. “What’s going on?” She gushed. “Where are we? How did I get here? Who are you? I mean, WHAT are you?” She had to pause to catch her breath. They could COMMUNICATE now! Maybe finally her questions will be answered.

“My Mate,” Ee-rah said again, frowning down at her. “I apologize, it took me so long to figure out the communication between us- I was distracted.” He smiled down at her, his icy, blue eyes taking her in from her toes to the top of her head. He licked his lips.

“Um… Yeah, it’s no problem.” Stephenie wasn’t sure how to respond to that. They both had been pretty occupied the past couple of hours- or what she thought had been the past couple of hours. It was hard to tell the time without a watch or the sun in the sky. She shook her head to clear it, trying to stay focused instead of falling back into the memories of the best sex she had ever had. Two cocks! The man- creature, alien, whatever- had two cocks! “Where are we?” She asked again, forcing herself to stay focused on the task at hand: get answers and get home.

“We’re in Messier 31. This is a Trade Ship. We bring goods and exchange them for others. We are not meant to bring any attention to us, especially to the aliens of this galaxy. They are…too primitive to grasp the existence of other life forms.” He frowned as he said this, and his eyes clouded over for a moment. “Others have tried to reveal themselves, and it has not gone well. We are very careful to keep our distance.”

“The only habitats in the Milky Way come from my planet…from Earth.” Stephenie mused out loud. Okay, so she was on an alien spacecraft. If she was dreaming, now was certainly the time to wake up.
