Westin Pack was the largest wolf shifter Pack in the world.

“The rest of my people are back there.”

“Does the Alpha still let you return to visit?” I wondered.

It had been weighing on me just a bit whether Dane would allow me to return at least long enough to visit with my parents every now and then.

Lily snorted. “He sure as hell better.”

My jaw dropped in shock.

“Kyle Westin is her brother,” Sydney explained.

“Oh, wow. Okay.”

“I go home as often as I can,” she confessed. “It’s not always easy with the duties I have here, but we make it work.”

“Two of our sisters live in Westin Pack now, and another one of them splits her time between there and here.”

“Oh yes, I meant to tell you, Cole and Lizzy will be transferring back here next month.”

“Really? That’s earlier than expected,” Clara said.

“Yeah, but she really wants to spend time with the girls.”

“You don’t think Lizzy is finally getting baby fever, do you?” Peyton asked.

“No. She’s never having kids. She just loves spoiling all her nieces,” Ruby insisted.

“I mean, there’s some truth in that, but maybe someday,” Clara said.

“Are you speaking for her or you?” Lily prodded as I sat there enjoying their easy banter.

Clara blushed.

“Oh my gosh! You’re trying now?” Lily asked.

Clara shook her head. “No. We’re still traveling too much for a baby, but we’re talking about it. It’s a first step.”

“It’s about damn time,” Ruby announced.

“Why do you travel so much?” I asked.

“Oh, well my mate, Gage, and I travel around assisting with animal rescue all over the world.”

“Wow, that’s sounds really important.”

“It is.”

“And you can’t take a baby with you? I mean, my parents traveled all the time, but that didn’t stop them from having me. We made it work.”

“Huh. I honestly didn’t think about taking a baby with us. We’ve been looking for more local opportunities to stay home instead.”

“Maybe you don’t have to,” Peyton said.

“I don’t know. It’s certainly something to think about. I do love my job.”

With only six women there I didn’t feel quite so overwhelmed.
