“Can we talk about that when I don’t have two dicks fucking me, Sparky?”
Aeron gave my ass another spank.
“Let’s go for the grand finale, or all of San Quintin will be without power.”
I was about to make a smartassed remark, but before I could even open my mouth, Leif and Aeron doubled their efforts, and I swore I was about to start openly weeping out of sheer pleasure. Aeron wasn’t thinking about hurting me anymore and was fucking my ass like it went down in the shower. Gentle Leif wasn’t quite as gentle right now. He had me crushed to his chest and kept biting my collarbone.
It all seemed to happen at once. Leif bit me again, and Aeron delivered a stinging slap to my ass. I came undone. The room seemed to light up as Leif’s eyes glowed white. I was sure Aeron’s were too. They might have been shining brighter than ever because it was super bright in here.
As soon as I felt the pinch of Leif’s teeth and the sting of Aeron’s hand, it was like the room lit up as I came. Leif and Aeron weren’t far behind me. I could remember seeing a lot of concerts, but that was by far the best grand finale of anything I’d ever seen before.
We collapsed in a heap on the bed and just snuggled. When I could finally speak again, I asked.
“How the Hell am I exploding things and causing power outages?”
“You’ve seen our eyes glow before, right?” Leif said.
“I’ve watched both of you light up like fucking glow worms.”
“That’swhat you’re doing. Your eyes glowed white when we were together the other night, and your entire body lit up just now.”
“How is that possible? I’m sure I would have noticed if I lit up like a Christmas tree before. Miss Mabel doesn’t glow.”
Aeron just laughed.
“She glows a little. She just didn’t let you see. You’re a little more angel. We can teach you to control it when your angel side wants to come out and play. It’ll save the light bulbs.”
“Can I go all Nazi killer like Aeron did? Why hasn’t that ever happened before?”
“You can stun people, but you can’t kill them. It didn’t happen before because you thought you were human. It’s a safety precaution, so Nephilim don’t end up experimented on in labs. That happened to you anyway, but that was because your father knew.”
I wanted to forget about the lab. I wanted to think about my new nifty angel powers, but I was so fucking tired. I nestled into Leif and Aeron’s arms.
“Angel superpowers tomorrow. I’m exhausted.
Leif kissed my forehead, and Aeron kissed my neck.
“Get some sleep, Speedy. We still have work to do tomorrow.”
Chapter 32
I
had a bounce in my step when I woke up. Aeron and Leif were in their usual places on the sofa. I took a running leap and dove into their lap. Leif buried his face in my stomach and blew a raspberry. Aeron just stroked my thigh.
“You need to eat, Ariel,” Aeron said.
Yeah, I did. Even after everything I ate at the party, I was still starving. I climbed out of their laps and started digging into breakfast.
“What’s the plan for today? Angel powers 101?”
“Dice wants to teach you about that,” Leif said.
“Don’t I need to learn about that soon? I’m blowing light bulbs left and right.”
“Dice is coming soon. Once I have a working serum, he will meet us here, and we will all travel to his base in Florida.”
“Right. How are you coming on the serum?”
