It didn’t really make sense to me because my experiences around other supernaturals were limited, but I’dseenus all happy together and told Sleipnir as much to give him hope. Sleipnir let out this scandalized gasp, and I knew damned well he loved the company of pretty women. Sometimes more than one pretty woman at once.
“But you’re with my mother!”
Loki just shrugged and smirked.
“And we’re both with Killian. It’s a witch thing that Ifullysupport.”
Sleipnir looked down at his crotch.
“You’re not getting withthisuntil I’m okay with this arrangement.”
Horses were generally stubborn, and so was Loki. Sleipnir had it on both sides. He’d see. I’d seen plenty of snippets of the battle to come, but not the full picture. I hadn’t actuallyseenus win. We didn’t have all the answers, and Thorunn had centuries to plan this. IsawThorunn returning at an eclipse. I didn’t realize it would take this long for it to happen again.
We had an excellent team, though. Wecouldstop this.

Ravyn
My twin had just gone through some crazy shit. We shared everything growing up, and I still had some of her clothes in my closet I needed to bring back now that they were clean. But I didn’t want to share the crazy shit. I would officially like to cancel my subscription. Was there a manager I could speak to?
There were only a few people I could tolerate living with, and that was generally Ripley and my parents until Killian got his body back. Loki just fit right in. I already enjoyed giving Sleipnir a hard time, and Bjorn seemed cool, but Ireallyhoped they adapted to my cottage that had been updated a lot before I moved in. Mainly not pissing all over my bathrooms and cleaning up after themselves.
Ishouldhave sent Loki to the doghouse and made him sleep in one of the guest rooms for lying to me, but I didn’t. He could have told us the truth. I’m not sure how I could have reacted, but better than finding out he lied to me. I poked him in the chest as soon as we got back to my bedroom.
“I’m still mad you lied.”
Loki yanked Killian and me into this massive bear hug. Why did he have to be such a good hugger when I was trying to be mad at him? He was fighting dirty, and he smelled good too.
“I’m sorry. I know this doesn’t mean much coming from Loki, but I’ll never lie to you again.”
“Do you believe him? Because I do,”Killian said.
“Yeah, I do.”
“Now that my secret is out of the bag, can I get Killian’s?”
I backed them all up until we crashed on my bed. I was smashed between my familiar and a god. It was kind of nice.
“So, my sister’s familiar is a cat. When Reyson came back, he was really into Oreos. Felix has several cat traits. He knocked over Reyson’s cookies. Felix was an all black cat, and Reyson put white fur on his face in the shape of a dick.”
Loki started giggling.
“That checks out with what I know of Reyson. He loves a good dick joke.”
“Felix was upset, and Ripley demanded he change it back. Now, as soon as they tricked my twin into bringing Reyson back from the Aether, he pretty much told her they were getting married, even though she was pissed she got tricked and didn’t even know him.”
“Also, accurate. He’s always wanted a mate but never seemed to meet him or her. He probably jumped on it and made a proper ass of himself as soon as he met her.”
“Anyway, he thought Felix’s dick face was hilarious and wanted to keep it, but my sister wasn’t on the god train yet and was mad about it. Reyson didn’t want Ripley mad about it, so he just gave Felix his body back in his prime. He offered to do the same for Killian when we were over for dinner trying to figure out the whole Dorian Gray thing. Killian wanted it, and here we are.”
“It’s a little taboo that you are both with your familiars. I love it.”
“It’s a little fucked up we both ended up with gods.”
Loki kissed the tip of my nose.
“Why? You’re both brilliant, powerful Gemini twins. I get you fell for Valentine the first time he was here but be honest with yourself. You would have gotten bored with him eventually, and we see how he takes rejection. He probably would have gotten gross about it, and it would have moved into restraining order territory.”
