A warm heat is against my face as I wake up, and I burrow into it.
"Good afternoon, sleepy head. You have to get up so we can start your worldwide tour."
Groaning, I mumble into Leo’s stomach, "Just a few more minutes."
A pinch on my butt makes me yelp and open my eyes completely, and Luke's laugh follows.
The bastard.
The bastard that really knows how to make love to a girl. I can't be too mad at him right now, as I still feel utter contentment and happiness.
It was perfect. They were both bursting at the seams with love for me and wanting to take care of me that the decision was so easy to make. It had just felt right.
Pushing off of Leo, I sit up fully and rub the last remnants of sleep from my eyes. I feel the bed dip on both sides as the twins get off, and I open my eyes to see Luke putting his clothes back on and Leo adjusting his pants.
There's a slight discomfort between my legs from our love making session, but it's a delicious soreness that reminds me of our unity.
Leo bends to the floor and puts my clothes back on the bed for me to reach. Looking at them thoughtfully, I shake my head at them and jump off the bed to see what else in the drawers.
I miss my leathers. They always made me feel ready for war.
As I pull my drawer out, my magical home provides me exactly what I want. Black leather pants and a strappy looking top that perplexes me. Pulling out new underwear, I pull them on and quickly shimmy into the leather pants before tackling whatever this...top...is.
After a few failed attempts, I finally get it on. Looking down, I see that it's similar to my old one with the zigzag of ties through the cleavage cut, but it also has two leather straps making a small x across my collar bones.
Glancing to the twins, I laugh when I see them checking me out and they whistle their appreciation.
Best hype team ever.
"You guys are dweebs," I say and stick my tongue out at them while searching for shoes.
Finding a pair of boots, I pull them on and follow the twins out of the room and toward the kitchen. Ash and Hale have wet hair—which I hope is from showering and not sweat—that is dripping down onto their black shirts.
They're sitting at the kitchen island eating while Zedd stands on the other side conversing with them. Upon hearing us enter the room they all look over at me, and for a moment I'm nervous that they're going to make a big deal about me having sex with the twins.
Blissfully, they don't even bring it up and Zedd plops a plate with a sandwich and chips onto the island for me. With a wink he says, "Salt and vinegar chips, your highness."
I devour my food with vigor, delighting in the taste of my favorite chips. Downing a glass of water, I swish it around my mouth to get the chips stuck in my teeth out.
"Alright, who's ready to go? I think we need to go to the angel and shifter realms first, since we know the witch and fae realms are already aware of the threat. We need to warn the other two immediately."
Ash reaches out from his seat next to me and rubs my back. "I think that's a great plan. Are you able to get us there?"
Pursing my lips, I close my eyes and picture the angel realm from my memories of my past life. The billowing clouds and the stunning city that rests atop them, gleaming amongst the natural sunlight.
Opening my eyes, I squeal when I see a portal to my right. "Yup!"
Go me, go me, it's my birthday, we gonna party like it's my birthday.
Hale interjects with his voice of reason, "What's the game plan before we run in there?"
Shrugging my shoulders, I respond a bit lackadaisically, "I'm not too sure, other than the fact that I need to secure my tether with the queens and warn them about Erebus. The rest we're just going to have to take in stride."
"Well, yippee ki yay, let's giddy on up!" Luke exclaims, bouncing with excitement that's contagious. He jumps on Leo when he squats down and swats his ass like a pony. They run circles around us as Leo fake whinnies a couple of times.
Getting to my feet from my bar stool after being thoroughly amused by them, I look at all of them and ask, "We ready?"
Nods come from all, and once again I lead us through a portal, praying that the outcome will be in our favor on the other side.
