I gasp involuntarily, shocked by his forwardness and the way my body reacts to his dirty words. Another arm is slung over my shoulder, and I glance over to see Hale smirking down at me.
"And I can't be held accountable for participating in said acts," he states, his eyes sparking with desire.
The thought of both of them pleasuring me out in the open sparks waves of heat through my core, and I rub my legs together while walking.
Why does that turn me on?
"Does our girl like the idea of being shared in public where we could be caught?" Hale taunts, raising his eyebrows in tandem with the question.
A grunt sounds from behind me, startling me at the sudden nearness. Ash's gruff voice sends shivers through me as he says, "If you guys enact that plan, I'll find a way to portal her out of here. No one gets to look at her body besides us."
His dominating words make that small heat within my core burst outward, filling all of my extremities.
As if I’m not aroused enough right now, the twins pop up behind us as well and chime in.
"We'll claim her in publicorin private."
"Whatever our mate's heart desires."
Now I was picturing all of their hands—and a few other things—on and in me at the same time. The fire of desire blazes within me like an inferno, and I feel the strong need to be doused by cold water to bring me back down to functioning like a normal person.
Person? Fae? Demi-god? I don't know.
Suddenly, a cloud appears over us and rain pours from it, drenching us all to the bone in a matter of seconds. Laughter bubbles up out of me as I get exactly what I wished for.
Perks of being Mother Nature.
The guys grumble and dash outside of the area that's raining down on me, leaving me cackling like a hyena alone.
Cadmus looks back once more and rolls his eyes while muttering, "So strange."
I grin at him, probably looking like a maniac, as we approach a beautiful hall lined on each side with statues of various shifters, each one standing easily twenty feet tall.
"Why do you guys look like drowned rats?" a raspy voice inquires, echoing through the open expanse.
Kinder stands at the entrance to the hall, shrouded by the shadows of a dragon statue. Her eyes glow in the darkness, the only thing that alerts me to where she is.
Closing my eyes, I envision a small wind tunnel around myself and each of my mates, swirling around us until we're dry once more. My hair billows around me before cascading, now dry, around my hips as the wind disappears.
Opening my eyes, I see that Kinder has moved forward, and her mouth is slightly ajar as she stares at me with awe. "What are you?"
Walking toward her, I shrug, "Mother Nature."
Her mouth fully drops open at my admission and she screeches, "How can you be so nonchalant about that? You're a goddess! What the flying fuck?"
"Kinder! Manners," Cadmus admonishes her as he passes by her and swats her on the head lightly.
His demeanor toward her reminds me of a big brother, and the way she scowls back at him definitely screams little sister with an attitude.
Passing by her, I call out, "Come on, little dragonet. We have a lot to discuss."
Her soft footsteps fall in line next to me as she corrects me under her breath, "I'm not little."
Glancing at her out of the corner of my eye, I guesstimate her height and counter, "Pretty sure being a few inches shorter makes you little compared to me."
She sticks her tongue out at me and wrinkles her nose, warming my heart in a strange way. I've never had a little sister, but her antics remind me of how Serenity and I are. The closest comparison I have to a sister bond.
Reaching out, I ruffle her hair, making her huff at me, small balls of fire puffing from her mouth. She shakes my hand off her head, and I drop it to my side while Cadmus announces that dinner will be ready in a bit as we cross into a large banquet hall.
