“Enlighten me!”
King Alain claps his hands behind him and takes a step down, waiting for the information.
“My King, our scout has spotted Princess Sofia Rose with her Fairy Gaurdian in a small town in Virginia.”
“Prince Dion, what additional gen do you have? I’m anxious to locate my Princess Sofia Rose!”
“My King, grant Prince Astor and I permission to visit the earth realm. Tis not far that Princess Sofia Rose is dwelling.”
King Alain walks down the additional steps and walks up to Prince Dion, crossing his arms across his chest, shaking his head. His violet eyes glow and he compresses his lips. He glares at his princes before he speaks.
“Prince Dion, need I remind you that Prince Astor and you are my greatest treasures? I shall not risk losing you. I’m not able to endure another loss. The loss of my Queen Victoria and Princess Sofia Rose has taken a toll. I will not allow my princes to leave! Have the Royal Elemental Guard Captain to bring Princess Sofia Rose to me!”
The rain falls on the windshield of the silver BMW. The windshield wipers move to the beat of the Niko’s heartbeat. He glances over at Sofia Rose, gripping the steering wheel.
“Niko, I’m excited to finally get to see your home. I’ve read all about the histroical events that occurred on your property.”
Sofia Rose turns her head to look at his gorgeous profile. Her eyes trace the outline of his straight nose and over his full, firm lips and to his strong, square chin. She compresses her lips tight and leans into the chair, closing her eyes.
I can’t believe that I’m here with Niko and soon I’m going to see his home. I know that fate is weaving their threads around our lives. I can feel it. I know it.
Niko looks over at Sofia Rose, and smiles at her. He watches her sigh softly and open her beautiful violet eyes. He inhales deeply, loving to smell her spicy violet scent. He shudders and holds back a groan.
Damn, her scent simply intoxicates my senses like no other. Why? Fuck! She’s my mate and I know it, but it can’t be.
“I can’t wait to show you my home, Sofia Rose. I’m posititve that you will love it.”
Niko turns the steering wheel and stops at the gate.He presses down on the button to roll down the door glass. He turns his head, and stares at the small onyx granite box. A blue beam turns on and scans his eyes. The black wrought iron gate opens and the blue beam turns off.
Sofia Rose’s eyes widen and she clasps her hands. She looks at the blue beam coming from the little onyx box.
“Niko, that’s interesting security you have there.”
“It is.”
Niko grins, turning to look at her and winks at her. He pushes on the gas pedal and drives the car down the road towards the circular driveway.
Niko stops the car in front of the gray brick staircase that leads to the huge wooden doors. He looks at Sofia Rose and smiles. He turns in his seat, opening the door and he slides out of the car. He takes long strides to quickly get to the passenger side.
He opens the door and extends his right arm, offering his hand to Sofia Rose.
Sofia Rose smiles up at him. She twists in the seat, sliding her legs to the right to step out of the car, taking his hand.
“Oh my, your home is beautiful! I love it! I can’t wait to see all of the rich history that’s in the house.”
Niko grins, winks at her, and pulls her to his side. He wraps his arm around her small waist, shuddering. Her spicy violet scent assaults his senses.
I know that I’m going to concede to these feelings. I’m losing the fight with every second that I’m near her. I know it and yet here she is about to enter my home. The home where I’m going to claim her as my mate regardless of what I need to do. I can’t lose her. I’ll figure out a way to keep her. I have to because I feel her deep in my soul, in every molecule of my being.
They walk up the staircase and when they reach the front door, the butler opens the door. He stands in the butler formal suit.
“Master, welcome home.”
“Marcus, good evening. This is Sofia Rose Neilsen.We’re having dinner here. I need you to have the table set.”
“Will do, Master.”
“Great. Call us when you’re ready to serve us.”
