“Whiskey.”
“Yeah? I thought you would be a Tequila guy!”
She pulls out the whiskey bottle. She pours the golden liquid into a crystal glass. She slides it over to him with a napkin.
Nikolaos grins, winking at her. “Honey, I’m a hard bastard. I love hard women and hard whiskey.”
“Oh yeah? That’s sounds like my type of man!”
Nikolaos grins, and leans in closer to her, taking her soft hand.
“Honey, tell me, are there any fairies in the house?”
“Fuck! Just my luck! I’m a demoness! I’m Mimi. I don’t think any fairies are in the house tonight. I’m good.”
Mimi winks at him and leans in closer, resting her firm breasts on the bar counter.
“I’m off in a few and I would love to get to know you. What’s your name?”
Nikolaos grins, takes her soft hand in his and raises it to his soft full lips. He kisses her wrists, gazing into her golden brown eyes.
“Mimi, it would be a pleasure to get to know you. I’m Niko, but I’m on an errand. I really need to meet these fairies.”
He holds her hand, watching her close. What a damn shame. She’s so adorable.
A huge hand lands on his right shoulder and a very similar face leans in next to them. Andrei Bartz glares at him.
His green eyes are a little darker green, and he’s an inch shorter, but he’s almost his twin. He glances quickly over at Mimi, nodding, and then he pulls back.
“Hey Niko! It’s fucking time I found you. I’ve been following you since you were in the Hell’s Night in California. We have a huge crisis to attend to!”
“Fuck Andrei! I’m busy!”
“Yeah, right! This can wait! We need to get to the bank branch in Saint Grove. Something is going down and we need to stop it,” says Andrei.
Niko releases Mimi’s hand and turns towards Andrei, crossing his huge muscular arms. His pale green eyes gleam erratically and his cheeks flush.
“What the fuck are you talking about? The bank is the least of our worries.”
“Like hell! The portfolios of all of the supernatural entities are being exposed and the consequences are starting to manifest. Niko, some accounts are almost dry. The cybercriminals are hacking into the accounts. It appears that the firewall is weak. I placed a call to Alastor to see what his take on this is.”
“What the fuck! The humans don’t have the ability to break our shields so someone is doing this and it has to be from inside our bank employees!”
Nikolas pushes away from the bar counter and takes the glass of whiskey. He drinks it all in one huge gulp. He slams the glass on the bar countertop, nodding at Mimi.
“Later.”
“Niko!”
“Let’s go! We need to stop this before the funds are drained. I have a million to one tasks to handle. Fuck it!”
Andrei looks around the club, looking for anything unusual. He shakes his head and glares at Niko.
“Hell, Niko! This is fucking important! What can be more important than this?”
Niko fists his hands tight, squints his eyes to hide his concerns, and shakes his head.
“If you only knew.”
