He reaches her. He takes the coffee cup and bag out of her hands. Then he slides her bag off of her shoulders, anxious to hold her in his arms.

“Yes.”
Niko pulls her into his arms and urgently takes her lips to kiss her deeply. His body shakes, his blood races through his veins in a fiery frenzy.

Sofia Rose wraps her arms around his slender waist, returning his hungry kiss.

Sofia Rose shudders, and her body explodes with need. She opens her eyes and pulls away, looking up into his glowing mint green eyes.
“You weren’t running away from me? I thought that you were done with me. That you got what you wanted and that was it.”
Sofia Rose’s huge violet eyes shimmer, and her silver specks flash. Her fears and hurt plays across her face.
Niko blinks, and shakes his head.No, my only sweet baby is so wrong. I never thought that she would think that. I should had told her before I left.
“Baby, never. I’m not going to leave you ever, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t need to take care of my obligations. I have so many that I need to attend to. There is a huge one that I need to take care of within the next seven weeks.”
Niko leans down to take another hungry kiss and he runs his hand in her black silky hair. He devours her lips and hugs her tight.
There’s a knock on the door and they pull apart. Sofia Rose’s face is flushed a light purple and her lips are swollen.
“Baby, I’m going to leave, but I promise that I’ll be back.”
Sofia Rose takes a step closer and hugs him, burying her face into his hard chest.
“Baby, this is so hard. I feel like I finally have my heart’s desire in my hands but I’m losing it. I’m so scared.”
Niko raises his hand and takes her chin in his hand. He leans in close to her to whisper, “Sofia Rose, please have faith in me. Believe in what I’m telling you. I will return as quick as I can.”
Sofia Rose’s eyes tear up and she blinks. Her violet tears roll down her face, and she nods.
“Okay, I will.”
“I don’t want you to worry about the accounts. I finished clearing them up. You only need to attend to your normal duties.”
Niko smiles, flashing his beautiful even, white teeth. He moves his fingers across her lovely face to wipe the tears from her cheeks.
The person at the other side knocks again. Sofia Rose turns, raising her hands to her face to finish wiping off the last traces of her tears. She opens the door and smiles at the teller.
“Ms. Nielsen, I need some assistance. There is an angry customer that demands to speak to you.”
“No worries, Jane. I’ll take care of the customer.”
They walk down the hallway and run into Liza and Andrei. Sofia Rose smiles at them and continues to walk into the bank lobby.
Andrei looks over at Niko that’s stands near the window looking out.
