“I’m not crazy, Mr. Bartz. Fairies do exist and Princess Sofia Rose is one of the most powerful fairies alive. She’s an Elemental Fairy.”
“Babe, don’t worry. We believe you. What’s important is that we can help you locate her. Let’s go out there to search for a trace or something.”
Niko closes his eyes tight, his heart races, and his soul dies. He’s disturbed, and relieved.
“Fuck! She’s a fairy?”
“Yes. We are Elemental Fairies! I knew that you wouldn’t believe!”
“We do believe, Liza. What I don’t understand is why I didn’t detect her as a fairy. What about her powers?”
“They’ve been bound since she was born for her protection. That’s why I’ve been her guardian.”
“That’s really fucking great! Sofia Rose is out there and we don’t know if she’s in danger. She’s helpless!”
“That’s why I’m so distraught! I’ve fucked up!”
Liza’s eyes tear up. She hiccups, trying to control her tears.
Andrei growls, and turns to glare at Niko. He takes a step closer, leaning into Niko’s face.
“Niko, you’re being a fucking jerk! I’m leaving with Liza to help her search for Sofia Rose. I’m surprised that you’re not running out to locate her yourself!”
Niko grinds his molars, opening his glowing mint green eyes. His silver specks glow bright and he takes that extra step to lean in close into Andrei’s face.
“Andrei, do not disrespect me! I’m the one that is anxious to locate Sofia Rose! She’s my fucking mate! I will not lose her now that I found her! We have a lot to talk about, but now is not the time.”
Niko pulls back and glances over at Liza, and nods.
“Liza, rest assure that I do believe you. I’m going to locate Sofia Rose.”
He teleports out of the apartment over to the town square below the trees. He watches the chaos, fear, and takes in the open portal. He clenches his fists when he sees the demons, exiled Vhampiers, and other entities emerge from the now open portal.
“What the fuck! There’s a portal that has been opened! How the fuck did this happen? Fucking hell, every living human and entity is now in danger.”
Niko turns slowly, searching for the humans. He reads the Saint’s Grove’s citizens minds to learn what has happened. The town’s folks run and some hide around the town square.
Fuck this is bizarre and totally dangerous for all humanity! I should get some help to close it up, but I need to locate my Sofia Rose. Fuck!
Niko closes his eyes, searching for Sofia Rose’s sweet aura and scent. He opens his eyes, frustrated and scared.
These fucking demons. No, every fucking entity will want my sweet Sofia Rose. She has the sweetest blood and powers. Fairies are a delicacy to all entities.
I’m so fucking scared! I have to find her before they do. What the fuck! What if they have my mate? I have to hurry!
Andrei walks up next to him and glares, looking around at the hysteria.
Niko turns to look at him, and takes a step closer. He leans in close to whisper, looking at the running humans, “I want you to go to Prince Maximillian and tell him what’s happening. We need all the power we can get to close the portal. The astronomical event with the eclipse set in motion is the forces that opened the portal. The exiled Demons, Vhampiers, and others are out ravishing the Saint’s Groves town folks. We have to gather them and close the portal.”
“Hell, that’s fucking insane.”
“I have to locate Sofia Rose. You have no idea how close I was to letting her go. We’ll talk later.”
I’m fucking excited that I decided to look for her and finish the claiming!
“Andy, I’m leaving. I’m going to look on the other side of town. I can’t believe that I can’t feel her!”
Andrei turns to look at her and nods at Niko. He walks towards her.
