I refuse to respond because I know we will get physical, and I need to avoid that at all costs.

I turn, extending my long legs, taking long strides to get out of his damn office.

This is fucking bullshit.

I’m not going to stop seeing my woman.

Period.

I know that I’m going against Capo’s orders.

I know that I’m breaking the fucking code of honor.

Fuck!

I walk down the hallway, out of the stupid huge mansion, and down the circular driveway to my car. I drive out of the fucking property to pay a visit to Winters.

Yeah, I’m going to see my Baby.

I pull into the driveway, looking at all of the lights turned on in the house. I turn off my car, pushing the door open. I jump out with the fucking anxiety of seeing my woman. I walk up to the door; no goons are standing at the gates.

My cell beeps, and I pull it out of my black leather jacket pocket. I slide my finger over the screen to read the text.

Noelle: Babe, I’m at the mall with my bitches.

Chris: Fuck! I’m here at your house, and I can’t see you later.

Noelle: Oh shit! I really wanted to see you.

Chris: Baby, I have a job tonight.

Noelle: Okay, love you.

Chris: Love you.

I knock, and his goon Fred opens the door. I glare at him, walking down the hallway and into Winter’s office.

“Winters, what the fuck are you doing,” I yell, standing in front of his desk.

“What’s going on,” Winters asks, pushing his chair back.

The motherfucker finally stands up, walking around the desk to glare at me.

“The Capo has heard that you’re talking to the Santoro crime family and some fucking motorcycle club! So what game are you playing? That right there is one of the reasons why you’re not a Made Man. You don’t have the loyalty, the blood to take the Omerta oath,” I growl, clenching my hands.

“You mafiosos are full of bullshit! The Santoro Crime family are interested in my service,” Winters yells, walking over to his bar.

“You’re playing with fire,” I yell, lowering my eyelids, focusing on his mug.

“You’re the one that’s playing with fire! You know damn well that my daughter is off limits! I’m working on getting her married off to someone high in the Mafia! So, you will stay away from her,” Winters yells, looking at me.

“Never, and you will not sell her off to the highest bidder,” I snarl, walking over to him. I stand in front of him, smiling at him with cold lethal eyes.

Winters takes a step back, shaking his head, extending his hand, pointing at me.

“You’re fucking crazy if you think that I’m going to allow my daughter to end up with you! You will stop seeing her,” Winters says, taking a long pull of his beer.

“I’m warning you! Focus on your assignments and stop fucking around,” I yell; turning, I walk out.
