This is home.

“Okay, we do need to talk,” Antonella says, holding onto my arms.

“Fuck, yes. Thank you, please come with me,” I groan, kissing her neck.

I don’t want to move; I don’t want to let her go. I want to stay next to her forever until my last breath.

Fucking hell!

I’m so ready to love my Baby girl, my woman.

I’ve missed her so much.

I need her.

“Sounds good; let me tell my cousins that I’m leaving so they don’t worry,” Antonella says, pulling away, looking up.

Her eyes dance with mine, scrutinizing my feelings as if she’s confirming that I’m sincere, truthful.

This is spearing my heart, my soul.

I can’t fucking believe that she’s lost faith in me, that right there fucking hurts, but I deserve it. I don’t fucking blame her after ghosting her.

Antonella pushes out of my arms, nodding, taking my hand. We walk over to the two girls, her cousins standing at the pool table, watching us. They look surprised; I know that they’re wondering who the fuck am I.

I’m her fucking man; I want to yell, so everyone understands that she’s mine, only mine.

Yeah, right!

I’m not going to let her go.

I glance at the bar at Kole; he’s fucking smiling, nodding.

Fucking shit.

It does feel like it is magic that’s clocking me, the mystical, powerful Christmas magic.

The barmaid dressed as an elf passes by; I stop her from giving her some bills to pay for my tab.

“Sofia, Bria, I’m going to leave with Nicola; please tell Mamma that I’ll get back as soon as I can. But tell Mamma to call me if she needs me,” I say, looking at my cousins.

Bria's lips pucker up into a perfect O, and Sofia nods wide-eyed. I know that they recognize his name and who he is.

“No worries,” Sofia says, nodding.

“Yeah, don’t hurry. We’ll be happy to help Zia with Nicoletta,” Bria says, holding the pool stick.

“Thank you; I appreciate everything, cousins. Nicola, this is Sofia and Bria, my cousins,” I say, looking up at Nicola.

“Hi, nice to meet you,” Nicola says, shaking their hands.

“A pleasure,” Bria says, smiling.

“Nice meeting you; it's about time,” Sofia says, smirking.
