“I’m getting ready to have fun; go out,” I hum, turning up my lips.
Yeah, I’m getting ready to go out with Romeo.
“Right. Cherry, I’ve been hearing that you and Romeo are now together. I knew that you two had a connection since you two were kids. Why the fuck didn’t you tell me,” Mommy asks, gathering her brows, staring at me.
“Mommy, you know that I love Romeo, and finally, he’s all in,” I huff, closing the nail polish.
“Romeo is a good man, but he’s a Satan Warrior. I asked him to take care of you, not to make you his Old Lady,” Mommy huffs, crossing her arms.
“Mom, what’s the problem? Romeo is a good one,” Pixie says, looking at her.
“I don’t have a problem. It’s your Dad; he doesn’t want you girls to end up with a Brother. He’s on my case all the time,” Mommy says, rolling her eyes.
“Mommy, Dad is in the Pen for life. I’m not going to listen to him,” Halo huffs, shaking her head.
“Right, I’m not either,” I say, crossing my arms.
“Mommy, you should just tell him that he can’t make those decisions for us. We’re big girls, and we will love whom we want,” Pixie says, pursing her lips.
“You girls are strong-willed, and I know that I can’t make you change your minds. The good thing is that Halo and Cherry got the good ones,” Mommy hums.
“Yeah,” Halo says, turning up her lips.
“Hell yes,” I shout, doing a happy dance.
“What about you, Pixie? Do you have your eyes on a Brother,” Mommy asks, raising her brow.
Pixie turns up her lips, her two dimples flash, and she rolls her eyes. A faint blush rolls up her neck.
“Maybe,” Pixie hums,
“Tell me,” Mommy hums.
“No, because he doesn’t fucking look at me. Did Dad tell the Brothers not to go near us,” Pixie asks, pursing her lips.
“I don’t know, but the Brothers know that your Dad is a mean son of bitch,” Mommy says, moving her head from side to side.
“Yeah, he is,” Halo hums.
“I don’t care; if Halo and Cherry can be with a Brother, so can I,” Pixie says, turning up her lips.
“You girls are killing me,” Mommy says, walking out of our room.
The next day.
I slide off the bike and pull off my helmet. I hand it to Kevin. I wrap my arms around his neck, gazing into his brilliant eyes.
“Baby, I love it when you bring me to school. Will you pick me up?”
“Yes, I think so unless I have to do a run for the MC, but I’ll text you if not.”
“Awesome. Did I tell you how much I love you,” I hum, running my fingers through his long shoulder-length hair.
It’s so damn soft, geeze.
“I love you,” Romeo hums, wrapping his arms around my waist, pulling me closer, turning up his lips.
“I’ll see you later, and be careful.”
